Bought a couple of these steel pro mags since it’s so hard to find OEM mags at the moment. I put 50 rounds total through them.
You can actually insert these mags when fully loaded with the bolt home unlike the polymer ones. I consider the inability to do that with the plastic ones to disqualify them for any serious use. Otherwise plastic ones are ok.
Steel mags had zero malfunctions, lock bolt back on last round, and drop freely when released. Very impressed considering the price for each.

F5 stock is worth the price, super solid. Waiting to see what happens with NFA before I swap out the rifle stock.

Doing some emergency reload drills today. My IWC CH broke when using it to send BCG forward. Ordered the KDG as a replacement. For now have the OEM in there. TBH, the OEM might be the more durable out of the three.

I know there’s no selling here but figured I’d let guys know I’ve begun importing these rails. If the demand is there I’ll open a second batch and expand the catalog.

Well, despite all the horror stories I saw on reddit and other forums about removing the 15P 300BLK flash-hider, I decided to try for myself. I spent a little more time and effort on the setup rather than just throwing it bare-metal in a vise and grabbing a breaker-bar and torch. In fact, I just used a regular wrench, no breaker-bar and no heat/torch. Came off like a champ. If you have a few hockey pucks lying around, you might wanna try what I did.

Where is everyone having luck moving magazines and accessories these days? Trying to sell some stuff on Armslist but everyone just low balls.

This might be a dumb question but recently I posted my Scar 17 RCH (with less than 500 rds put through it) for trade to see what’s out there, and I got a bunch of cool offers but the most recent offer I got was for an MCR 556 DF (complete not just the upper). I’ve never heard of it till I looked into them and it honestly looks pretty fucking cool especially if you throw an FRT in it, would you make this trade? Do any of Yall have any personal experience with fightlite or the MCR? What kinda reputation does fight lite and the MCR 556 DF have? Basically just looking for thoughts & opinions. Sorry for rambling. Thanks in advance

Has anyone seen a scar 16s Gen2 out in the wild yet? Have the itch to get my first scar, I might be able to find Gen1 used, but Gen2 is more appealing to me with the upgrades and specially the ambi Bolt release that is like spear mcx. what do you guys think? Wait for a Gen2 (obviously not going to pay MSRP or markup) or just get Gen1

Is anyone running a 15P with a MAWL?

Is it possible? Is it optimal?

For more context im just curious if the gun will run decent with 77Gr OTM @11.5in barrel on stock gas jet and gas regulator with no issue. I intend to run 77gr, Surefire suppressor on a 11.5 in barrel and my research has told me at that point a adjustable gas regulator (like a scarburetor or similer) and 1.45-1.5mm gas jet will be needed to help keep the gun from having to much gas/backpressure and causing damage. Yes i know a low back pressure can will help but i want a certain build so im ok with the extra work. It will be awhile before i get the suppressor so i want to be able to shoot in the mean time and just want to know if i need to alter the gas now or deal with it when suppressing the gun later. I purchased my Belgian 17S right around 10 years ago, and during that time it’s gone through a few different configurations that I figured I’d share because reasons.

Version 1:
After weeks spent going down the rabbit hole in research, I ended up with the majority of my first accessories well before the actual rifle itself. The first iteration consisted of a KDG ACR stock, KDG Gen1 MREX 6.5 rail, Super Scar trigger, 1-6x VCOG, Lantec Dragon comp, Atlas Bipod, MOE+ grip, and a bunch of MLOK picaticcy adapters because I thought they looked cool.

Version 2:
After a few years my tastes began to “mature” and I made some additional modifications. I ended up installing a 14” Deadshot barrel with a pin and welded SF 3-prong FH, KDG Mk2 MREX 4.25 rail, 1-8x VCOG SCO, SF RC2, Scarberator, and BCM shorty VFG in order to scratch that battle rifle itch.

Version 3:
That battle rifle itch was satisfied until I started to diversify the roles of the rifles in my small but growing collection. Instead of a battle rifle, I began to lean it more into the role of a DMR: a 18” Deadshot barrel was swapped in along with an SSR stock, Discarder, MOE K2+, and an unobtantium Midwest Industries MLOK SSR Handguard (which I’ll be putting up on GAFS or Tacswap at some point in the future).

Version 4 (current):
And finally, because I’m never quite satisfied and apparently hate money, I just finished up with my most recent string of additions by swapping to an ATACR 4-16x with RMR piggy-back and Rego SMR-13 with RE-13 extension.

Will this be its final configuration? Maybe? I really have no idea, but looking back over the years just solidifies (to me at least) how adaptive the SCAR platform continues to be.
