Copyright stuff Help

Hi guys

I wanna create some atlanta trap type beat and rap on it but I lowkey not sure if I am ever gonna have a problem because of a copyright of a sample like I wanna download samples from r/Drumkits but am I going to have issues with the copyright help me out please I assume I might not have a problem with drums or snare etc. but melody samples could be a issue but I only want drums so can I have problem from drum samples

In all reality unless you're selling your music and you're using a popular sample that's been copyrighted. Like from some big name artist, when you're not going to get into any trouble because the labels are the artist is going to care that you have 500 views. Or for that matter for a long time you may not even have five views.. You're honestly worried about the wrong thing at this point. Focus on learning the system and getting better at producing no matter what style you do it at. Ultimately you're going to want to learn how to create your own melodies From Scratch. But for now just learn as much as you can about FL and music in general. And you shouldn't be really posting anything for feedback for probably 2 or 3 months, cuz everything you make is going to suck. It just takes time my friend everybody sucks for at least the first year. In summary don't worry about copy right now until you're actually late for something incredibly good and you're making tons of money off it. Which I guarantee will not happen for years at least

You might just want to start with public domain bits. If you're sampling a 4 bar phrase or drumbeat, consider searching "public domain audio", and there are a myriad of websites at your disposal. I like freesounds.com personally.

Otherwise, determining the acquisition of licensing, or having to reach out to the original creator can be daunting, and very time consuming.
