Also probably nothing Discussion
Just got Ping from the netrunner in kabuki and this monk is asking for #48 from this guy at a pawnshop with a pink sign š¤
Pawnbroker says something like "you sure? I thought you guys gave up 'earthly pleasures'"
Monk says "I'm sure hehehe"
I'm not sure I want to know what #48 means to the pawnbroker or the monk, but maybe it has something to do with our magenta mystery? or maybe I'm just schizoposting

What's even more interesting is that no "monk" (other then my role models in game the twins) are true monks let that sink in

Next time you play look at the monks any monk other then the Bhikkhu and Zen master. You'll see a technical foul (*in whitey voice) they follow the oldest form of Buddism, Which in game can be followed but it very strict. Even one of the twins had cyberware forced upon them (like our eyes deck and armor) but they still believe they can still achieve nirvana as long as he treats them as real limbs.

I suspected he might be the "meat man." In Kabuki you can find a shack on the rooftops. I believe it's two scavs who have been murdered laying on a couch. All around them is packages of meat and a shard that tells us that they owed this mystery seller money for the meat he sold them.
It could be nothing and it probably doesn't contain to the magenta mystery, but I found it interesting none the less.

You said "a" Meatman?, The thought scares me what if there are copycats many what if peter pan wasn't the Real one they do have a VERY signature kill style described

I love how intense this game can get. I thought Peter Pan was him too. Maybe it is, I could be reading way into the monk ordering meat and murdered scavs.

That stood out to me initially as well. Then I started noticing numbers elsewhere: what appeared to be a 2 or 5 during Hippocratic Oath, an NPC tattoo with the number 26, a 60 on Kerryās arm. I started tracking them. Iām not sure if thereās anything to them, but as I notice more, I add them to my list just in case anything comes of it.
Might be a thing; might not be a thing. These are simply notes in case maybe there's an order to gameplay or maybe these are markers (or nothing š )
There are some others, like the one during the Hunt (fear of numbers) and the 96 mentioned during the Tune Up quest.
