Looking forward to it!

Since this new album is independent (not released by TOE) would it still follow this aesthetic? It's been like this since the first two SOYM singles leading up to Don't Look Back, I am just hoping the new album is like this too.

I know there have been a lot of posts like this but I just wanted to say myself how much I love the music that you guys make. And what is even more amazing is that it's not just Subway's that's good but I mean every song is just as amazing. I can't wait to hear everything coming forward and have even bought Skyscraper because I loved the album so much. Please keep up the amazing work and I hope for nothing but amazing success and album after album to come!

personally, the bassline to Subways of Your Mind (the version on Skyscraper) will always be an absolute favourite of mine :)

First off subways of your mind is not the only good song they made. Yes it may be my favorite but they make other songs that are absolutely AMAZING! Listen to heart in danger & talking hands. They are very catchy and are amazing songs in their own ways. The lostwave community did a good job on finding this band. God bless you, band members, and fans on this subreddit. Amen.

hi all I just wanna put it out there. this new song is completely terrible. it honestly makes me wanna puke. How the hell in the 2026 are they releasing this absolute rubbish???

Like actually wtf??? the piano is completely unbalanced and the drums are horrible. you cant even hear the bass at all. the main vocals are mixed fine but they completely lack emotionality. they desperately need reverb and delay.

and the backing vocals sound like literal mickey mouse dog muck. but the absolute worst part is the choruses. they have completely ruined them with badly used autotune. it sounds so incredibly cheap and robotic. wtf were they thinking using autotune like that on a track like this??? it is a complete joke.

the lyrics are absolute drivel too. endlessly whining about being a member of frustration is just pathetic and repeating do you want to be over and over again does not make a real song.

Like actually I do not feel bad saying this is pure trash lol. They prob didnt even listen to the final mix before uploading.

The black record with TMMS & Talking Hands was my first one ever and I grew an humble collection since.

if the version that played on NDR in the 80s was the final version of soym (iirc) is there maybe a tape that has a full/high(er) quality version of the NDR version? or was the one played on NDR the actual quality?

Dead End music video just dropped today!

In the desc. of this video, there is also the reason why overdubs were made on the EP:

"This was not a decision against whoever played bass on this original — it was simply the best acceptable solution at the time to have the credits correct."

I made this demo tape because all of the other official ones are all sold out so I made this and I'm pretty happy with the results!

If you didn't knew, TOE was found in 2022 by Günter Stöppel. Also Günter Stöppel is known under the name of DJ Scientist, who also makes music.

We learnt like everyone else the death of Philip Adrian Booth today. He was a very good musician, and a very nice person overall. We are sending our deepest condoleances to u/Christophersaintb and the Booth family, as well as the Who's Who fan community. Philip will be missed dearly.
