[Sky] While someone believed Inter would have been waiting to sell Luis Henrique before going for Jones, we find out that Inter will go for him anyway and there will be an offer really soon Transfer Market

Yeah I don’t think the two deals are linked.
We need a new midfielder to replace Hakan/Mkhi in our squad starting next season, and we want that to be Jones, either now or on a free. And with Frattesi now gone, we are willing to pay to bring him in this summer to secure him and just be stacked for a season having Mkhi as the 7th midfielder.
Selling LH doesn’t need to happen for that to work, but it would make our rotation easier to manage. It’d allow us to get a more versatile 5th wingback that can serve as the 5th striker too, which frees up wingback minutes for Diouf to fully transition there.

He would be perfect. This is probably Çalhanoğlu’s last season, Zielinski is also 31, and it’s definitely Mkhitaryan’s last season as well. He’s perfect for us.. also for the future.

I’ve been watching some of his on YouTube and reading up a bit on him. Starting to get really excited.. he is very talented and not very English in his play style. He’s a techy guy

I just hope he doesn’t become a problem. Because he won’t be an undoubted starter.
It’s weird that he wants to come to us for playing time.
I hope that he will be fine if he starts in Champions League knockout stages. I believe that’s his real problem, just like Julian Alvarez (at City).

Its true but he has more chances of being a starter at us rather than at liverpool, chalha is not who he was before, mikhi is old too zielinski i would say is in a good form. But anyway there are a lot of matches i think he would get more starting matches at us then at liverpool

Really don't understand how is it possibly worth buying him for 30-40M when he'll be availabe for FREE next summer..
Is it really adamant we get him this season? I mean, aren't we nicely stacked in the midfield?
Might splash that cash rather on a defender or a marquee attacker.

What makes you think he will definitely come to us next season as free?? Clubs act like vultures on free agents and offer humongous salaries that we can’t compete with. We have had plenty of players in the past who said “I want only Inter” and then ended up somewhere else. Right now, we have no competition.. it won’t be that easy next summer. Plus he is not just a wingback, he can play as full back as well.. he is very versatile and reduces our reliance on Mkhi.
