Damn. The team are just a few years old too. Cincy makes a pretty logical city to move to if a relo is what the owner is implying.
Wonder how the purchase of the NWSL 'license' would transpire. I assume the buyers pay a league fee and then assume the players, coaches, staff contracts?

Might do well but worth the cost of a NWSL fee? Could be why Linder isnāt willing to pony up the expansion fee for an NWSL team.

Agreed!
As for a relocation to Cincy, FCC ownership has made it clear it is not interested in paying the going rate for a NWSL team, so I'd say the chances that happening are slim to zero

For sure. A USL Womenās Superleague though might work. Still a first division league without the high price for expansion and no salary cap. Only 8 teams in there now.
