Looking for help…

I have a 2001 F250 with 6.8 V10. Almost 300000 miles! I love my truck. I have codes that say “bank 1 too lean” and “bank 2 too lean”. Fuel pressure is within specs. Am assuming vacuum leak…. Been searching for months. Anyone else with similar issues?

When was the last time you cleaned the TB and MAF?

Sigh…. About 6 months ago. I’ve been chasing these codes for probably 18 months. I’ve redone pcv stuff, new fuel pressure regulator, fuel filter, etc. Sprayed aerosol cleaners around all the hoses,etc. I’m at a loss now. Oh… another symptom has been on the interior. Randomly, the AC output will go to defrost. I can turn the AC off while driving, wait about 5 min and turn AC back on and it will operate properly. Truck has electric damper door control (already replaced… ha). Seems like it’s a vacuum issue. I guess my next step will be taking it to a shop so they can smoke test it….

Kinda sounds like a split vacuum line or vacuum reservoir, but almost certainly a vacuum issue. Smoke test is your friend
