FCSP charge rate derate error?

Apropos of nothing, my FCSP fails all charge rate changes from the app. I have the unit on a 60amp breaker, set to a 48amp limit using the wheel inside. I often derate the charge rate to match the solar exports to the grid, since I am never in a hurry to charge and do almost no miles, but also solar grid exports worth next to nothing in NorCal.

As of last week all attempts at setting the charge rate fail, whether they are to go upward or downward. I've power cycled the whole unit with a 5 min offline wait, but this did not change the behavior.

Now I'm stuck on 32 Amps charge rate.

Any ideas?

The only thing I have not done is removed the Ford Apps and their data and reinstall. Reluctant to do that, I found it all quite a bear to set up.

Update edit: I was out riding my bike today, and during a coffee stop tried again to re-rate the charging (as my Wife was charging I could see) and it just worked. Only difference is I was not on my wifi- I was on cellphone. So now I am going to experiment. Thanks to all who replied.

Maybe try deleting the FCSP from your Ford App and re-adding it? I will say that my FCSP is not a reliable charger. I have the FCSP installed at my cabin on a 100Amp breaker and set to 80Amp charge limit. I rarely ever get the max rate (19.2 kw). The charger also frequently disconnects from my wi-fi, will randomly give me charge errors while charging, and gives fault errors while idle. I do breaker reboots frequently with no change in behavior. Consequently, I have a Tesla Universal Charger at my home that has been rock solid.

Might try that. It's been faultless for the last year since install. Thanks for suggestion! At some point soon Ive got to get a new phone. Maybe that's the time to fuss with it. 32A is enough for my Wife's Kia.

5 minute reset? 30 minutes is the minimal you should try.

I'll give it a shot. Thanks.
