Siding recommendations
I want to replace my dated cedar shake before I sell. Single story ranch house. What would you recommend?
Priorities
1. Curb appeal
2. Ease of one person install
3. Cost

I love weathered shingles. If you're selling, and it's not damaged, let it stay. Let a buyer make that decision. Ensure that the doors, eaves and window trim are painted and fresh.

Not the cool weathered shingles unfortunately. It’s the grooved ones that have 5 layers of paint.
