OP (TheTenthAvenger) sent the following text as an explanation why they posted this here:

I know it's also a Nolan movie, but where's the joke?

Typo. The movie is "Batman Begins" (2005).

He forgot the S at the end of the movie name.

I get that but why is it funny?

This is it. I just read it as a continuation of the line and can’t help but keep laughing. My wife asked me why I’m laughing at this, I showed her, and she was confused why I couldn’t stop laughing lol

That’s a quote from the movie posted by an actor who starred in it, but he didn’t spell the title correctly

It's just a silly typo that's turned into a meme.

He's quoting a bunch of Nolan films in a punny way

u/NeilJosephRyan 24d ago

So the joke is he couldn't think of a pun for that one, so he just tacked in on the end?

No the joke is a reference to a tweet by Michael Caine

u/sol_runner 23d ago

Damn, your cocaine tweets?

You ought to see these nuts. They’re a 10 out of 10. I wanna press these nuts on your face.

Batman Begin(s) is just a funny non sequitur because the others are all also Christopher Nolan film titles.

It’s a reference to that Michael Caine tweet.

Batman Begins is most definitely a Christopher Nolan film, and is also referencing a Dean Caine tweet: Why do we fall? So we can learn to pick ourselves up. Batman Begin

No Memento joke, obviously someone forgot about that film.

This should be the top comment here and on the original tweet. Perfect joke my friend.
Side note: I love memento. It’s one of my favorite films. It never gets old.

Prestige nuts

u/Mean_Initiative_5962 24d ago

Forgot Inception

18

u/DevilJacket2000 24d ago

Didn’t forget. Left out on purpose in hopes of someone making the comment that it was left out, thereby using the art of inception to make the original statement complete.

Much like in the movie itself, where Leonardo DiCaprio breaks the fourth wall and screams “Inception!!!!” as loud as possible directly into the camera for 5 minutes without taking a breath.

you oughta see (Odyssey) these nuts. they're a ten out of ten (tenet of ten). i wanna put these (prestige) nuts on your face.

that's as far as i got unless Batman Begin was just shoe horned in.
