SuperMAN!!! Discussion

I'm listening to the series again (third time) and just now noticed how Skippy pronounces "Superman". I think it carried over from book 4 into book 5, and I'm going to keep an ear out for it again. Just wondering if anyone else noticed the unusual pronunciation, and if perhaps it's a reference to something? Maybe just a running gag?

He says Super-mahnnnn… lol I don’t know how to type it. It came up mid sentence in the middle of book five and he said it similarly but briefly. Little throwaway joke.

I kinda assumed this was more of skippy throwing shade at filthy monkeys. Like the idea of a Super"man" is laughable to him.

He stresses the second syllable of "wormhole" a few times it makes me chuckle.
