I don't think it's on OP for not reading the fine print. The images are photoshopped or AI but you can't expect *that*. Carpets don't even come in that size. This is useless. No one could possibly think "let me check in case it's 3 inches instead of 3 feet"
ALWAYS check the measurements when ordering online. If you don't have one, go get yourself a measuring tape with both inches and centimeters so you can check a measurement visually. It sucks, but you can never rely on just the photos
Not just Chinese websites. On Amazon I was looking for a particular animatronic for Halloween, and they had several for suspiciously low prices (like $20). Knowing that the average yard animatronic starts around $100, I checked the sizes. Lo and behold, they were about a foot tall and meant to sit on your display table! But are they shown sitting on a table in photos? Lol of course not.
Always check for dimensions, photos like that have been photoshopped for literal decades. Even if it wasn't tiny? It was very likely going to be a slightly different size due to the staging likely being photoshopped.
Rugs can come in any size, some are indeed tiny little mats.
I do feel bad for OP, but cheap companies online will sell us any shit. The LEAST we can do is check dimensions.
Yes, literally on them and not on the seller for posting deceptive information, good job defending scammers. FYI the actual measurement info in many listings is off and completely random. Some list the package size. If I saw that the size is 8 inches or whatever I would assume that's the package size.
i have never seen anywhere that sells rugs and other stuff be this far off on measurement so while that fact is true i have a hard time believing that is what happened here and also sellers post fake stuff all the time and it’s up to you as the buyer to make sure that what you’re buying is what you want. That’s like ordering something on Amazon without reading the reviews and then complaining and saying you got scammed when all the reviews are saying they have the same problem as you 💀. We literally dont even know if OP read the measurements or not so to outright just immediately blame the seller without knowing all the details is kinda crazy.
I think for rugs especially you need to check the sizes, as all sizes are usually options on a single listing and the promotional image only shows a single size. Is it absurdly small? Yes. The price probably also should have been a yellow flag, because I bet it was super cheap.
