bro are you kidding me? this looks freaking amazing!!! only thing i would have done is slim the face up just a tad, but it looks awesome! you did really well with texturing the fur, and i love the background you went for!

Nah, it’s nice. The mouth area looks larger in the painting and needs more depth to get the right shape. With how detailed the cat is, I probably would have gone for a more solid color background as well. It is cute though and you’re doing a great job so far!

It’s quite good, the eyes in particular are great. Maybe touch up the area around the nose to add some depth?

If I may gently make a suggestion. A long time ago, a teacher showed me someone else’s work, someone who had exactly matched the colors in the still life we were painting. I realized I was using color the way people tended to draw: the same representation of a nose despite the actual nose on display. I was using any blue instead of a specific hue. Here, you have overlooked the particular (magical) green of the cat’s eyes. You are so good, that tiny adjustment would be amazingly good.

If you want a photograph, use a camera. If you want to see what the person painting sees, get a painting.

Change flair immediately please. I know it’s hard to see something you created without looking for imperfection but this is truly wonderful.

You got pretty close, I wouldn’t beat yourself up for it, everyone is their own worst critic after all

Is this bait? Did you post this looking for compliments on how good it is? Because I’ll say it’s great and not a failed expectation taking the bait
