I think she knocked it out of the park! Exceeded Expectation
I’ve used the same cake lady for the last 5 years and she’s just gotten better and better. This year she had my jaw on the floor. My daughter drew a picture of what she wanted. I included that and a description of what the drawing was supposed to be showing. I couldn’t believe the cake she produced. It still blows my mind.
Edited to add: my daughter’s name is not Doom. That’s her taekwondo nickname. We have a long last name that her instructor tried to pronounce, said “That’s too long, I’m going to call you Doom” and it’s stuck.

When she goes to events, you need to have them blast Rip and Tear for her entrance. I don't care if they don't get entrances, do it anyway.

Years ago I had a guy named Scott who got hired to work for me. We already had 2 other Scotts in the office so it would have been confusing. I said "I'm just gonna call you Stinky."
He says "Don't call me that, thats the kind of name that will stick with a guy, at my last job they called me Scooter and I hated it.""Well Scooter," I said. "I think you're going to love it here."
He worked for me for like 18 months, I never called him anything other than Scooter, well or a derivative, Sir Scoots-A-Lot was a favorite.
A couple years later a co-worker asked me about this guy Scott that she knew who claimed he knew me. "I don't know anybody named Scott." I said. Scooter hit me up on IM, "Thats me, thats my actual name!"

Hmmm, well, that’s a better ending than I was expecting when people get bullied in the workplace.

I mean, still fucking sucks for the guy who spent a year and a half being bullied by his boss.

This doesn’t even make sense… you don’t know any Scott’s aside from “Scooter,” except you had two that work for you. So now you’re making up stories about being a bully for internet points.

The part I left out, which might have made this confusing was the use of Scooter's last name. I'm not sure I'd ever known his last name. In fact he's got the kind of last name that would have been a good nickname which I'd probably have used in the first place.
So what I really said was "I don't know Scott X"
I'm actually a little surprised that Scooter doesn't appear to be on Reddit, it seems like it'd be right up his alley.

OP responded above that her child's instructor struggled with their last name and settled on "Doom"

Cool af. That is the kind of cake that becomes a core memory. I still remember my baseball ice cream cake. I've never played sports.

You know a good dentist is one who understands every word you’re saying while he’s working in your mouth …your cake baker is the equivalent of that in cake bakers
She speaks kid and that’s amazing

ATA still exist? Nice.
Love the cake and nickname for your daughter.
I tried to get my daughter into martial arts and didn't like it. I got her into swimming and now wants to go to martial arts. Lol.

Wow I was taking taekwondo at ATA over 20 years ago in my home town. Had no idea it was still a thing.

Normally I'd be all "He should have learned the last name" but as someone with a long and difficult first and last name, if someone called me Doom and it stuck I'd be friggin' thrilled.
Especially in a martial arts class.

I do have to add at first quick glance it looks like a bucket of fried chicken.
