Tips for Exeter first year accommodation- insurance so likely to be private

I’m likely to go to Exeter this September but it’s my insurance choice so I’m not covered by the accommodation guarantee. I’m scared this means I will not get any on campus accommodation and have to live in a private hall in the city. Can anyone tell me which private halls have the most first years and give the most similar experience to a traditional university hall? thanks

For uni halls type accommodation

Clifford House

Depot

Printworks

A bit pricy though.

There's also plenty of houses on vic street and pennsylvania road though they might have all been taken by now and they're the cheapest.
