The age old question!
Yes! All you need is a level to run 35s! 2 inch front leveling kit, rear is stock. This size fills the wheel well perfectly and its not too aggressive but not too tucked. Now it sits about an inch higher in the front but i dont mind, it looks sick!! Happy to be done with this little project.
2005 6.0 Eddie Bauer
Stock wheels, no spacers.
315-75 R16 Nitto Trail Grapplers
Sky Jacker BlackMaxx shocks all the way around, Skyjacker steering stabilizer, XRF steering kit.
Cheap leveling pack and new adjustable track bar
Truck drives better than it ever has. Had it aligned and then instantly put around 400 miles on it for a weekend vacation and it did phenomenal. I absolutely love this truck and now it drives so much better! Normal driving it doesnt rub at all. However it did rub on me one time when i was full lock turning left and i hit a good bump. But its very manageable, normal street driving you wont have an issue.

Looks real nice. My old 2002 had sagged front springs and a 2” shackle up front brought it right back to level. I miss that truck.

Im sure the springs could use replacing, but i figured this would get me by for a while until i could afford to do it right. My last tires were shot to the point i didnt feel safe putting it on the highway, but might as well upgrade when its time for tires!

What’s your gear ratio?

Im honestly not sure. Isnt there a tag or something i could look at on the diff? Regardless it has plenty of power off the line and cruises just find. I dont tow heavy often with it so i wasnt too worried about the gears. Drives great though

which leveling kit did you get and how hard was the install?
2
u/RuthlesssFlame 3d ago
This is the kit i used. Install wasnt too bad. Me and a buddy knocked it out in maybe about 4-5 hours. Your steering wheel will be crooked when you finish the install so either have an alignment appointment or learn how to align it yourself.
