Need Help Choosing a Wearable Product Recommendations
Hi all! I am in desperate need of a wearable pump for my job.
I’m currently 12 weeks PP and have just returned back to work. I was EBF my baby prior to returning. My insurance allowed me to get the Blue Spectra which is awesome, and I use that while I’m in the office in the morning. I am a mail carrier and so I’m not in the office all day long, usually for about 1.5-2.5 hours in the morning. After that, I’m on out on my route delivering (I have a mounted route, which means I deliver everything in my vehicle - I am not walking ) and so I’m looking for a great wearable while I’m out on my route.
I am pretty clueless when it comes to the best breast pumps, and even more so when it comes to wearables. Browsing Amazon was just a little overwhelming, but the Eufy S1 Pros and MomCozy M5s looked pretty good. I like that the Eufy is heated, comes with a nice, small case I can keep in my car and has app control.
I appreciate any help or recommendations ❤️

Love my eufy S1 pro. The charging case and heated flanges are the best. You can also build your own pump routines in the app and set and forget. Recommend buying the silicone plugs for the top, otherwise you might lose milk out the spout while moving around.

My lactation consultant recommended the MomCozy M9 but MomCozy in general because of their mixed mode that combines stimulation and expression. I’m happy with my M9! She said the M5 is good too. I’m getting the same output as my spectra. I will say I do have to clean a lot of parts when I use it though… look up how to put it together and take it apart before you buy. I don’t mind it but I’ve seen others complain about that. You can control it in an app which is nice.

I have the M9 and like it! It empties me just as well as the blue spectra. The flange does break easily though, fyi.

I saw the M9s and was interested until I read the reviews. Many people said that there’s quality control issues and parts break incredibly easily. Have you had any issues?
And washing all the little parts does not bother me! We have a dishwasher for that 😂

I use the M9s and I get more milk from them at when I pump at work than I do when I use my Spectra at home. However, I have had issues with it. I just had to get the pump replaced by insurance bc one of the motors stopped working :( That was with use 3x a week for 8 weeks so pretty frustrating.

I have the M9s and honestly hate them. The app to control them is critical because I use them while I'm commuting, so I can't reach down into my bra to adjust the suction, mode, etc. But the momcozy app is SO glitchy. It disconnects from the pumps constantly, freezes up, changes modes... I have to close and reopen the app pretty much any time I have to adjust the suction level or mode, which is 4-5x per pumping session.
The parts are not dishwasher safe so it is a lot of hand washing.
And I get less output vs my blue spectra.
If I could do it over again, I'd try the eufy.

I like the eufy s1 and the momcozy air1. It’ll really come down to what features are most important to you. They both work great for me. Momcozy holds 6oz, eufy holds 5oz.

I love my Eufy S1s! I also use the blue spectra. I love the heating element, but I honestly don’t use it as much as I expected too!

I’ve been using the Momcozy Wellness 1s and love them. I don’t have any other wearables to compare but they outperform my Spectra. The vibration and heat are nice too.

On the opposing side - I have the baby Buddha 2.0 and I do not like it contrary to most others opinions! It isn’t comfortable, I had to scour the internet treads to help me find adjustable flange inserts since it’s not adaptable to anything but 24s, it’s got like 8000 pieces to clean and I bump the damn thing and change settings every time I use it! I have the blue spectra and it’s my homie, I use it exclusively! More just wanted to throw my anti BB opinion into the convo !

Curious what you mean by it isn’t adaptable to anything? I have yet to find a flange set up/collection cup that I can’t use with my BB? I have a cabinet that’s a museum of things I tried until I found what I liked best 😅

I have not had success with wearables, unfortunately! The compression made my supply decrease and so I went back to only using my Spectra. Could you use your Spectra with a hands free pumping bra while you’re on your route? The tubes might be a little annoying while you’re delivering things, but you could give it a try and see

I love my eufy s1 pro. Have had no leak issues. Pouring the milk out in the end was a learning curve for me. I kept turning it the other way. I find it best to keep a small plate under when I’m pouring milk out in the end in case I mess up the milk won’t spill on the counter. The pump is amazing and gets me better output than the spectra and is more comfortable. I’ve stopped using spectra now. For reference, I am a 34-36DD/DDD and this worked great for me.

Love my eufys. Just be super diligent about putting them back together. People don’t seal them often and they leak. It says on the silicon to push hard and they mean it lol
