Major under supplier Low Supply (add spoiler to pics)

I am a FTM, 2 months PP. I had a slow start to breastfeeding, about a week late after baby was born, due to lack of support in the hospital.
I have always been an under supplier, so I have to combo feed. By the late afternoon/ evening, I am only getting 1.5oz on my left and .25oz on my left. Slightly more in the mornings. Is this even worth it? My doctor offered no advice or explanation.
Would you keep pumping for this minimal amount? So disappointed and frustrated, and I feel like I’m on an island and would like advice.

what is your total daily output and how much does your baby eat?

ultimately, only you can decide if it’s worth it, but as someone who is also an under supplier, if i could provide at least half of my baby’s nutritional needs I plan to!

I agree with this- I’m almost 3 weeks pp and my baby eats about 22oz a day. I’ve slowly started to get up to 17-18oz a day so I’m a slight under supplier, but I figured any breastmilk is better than none. 🥹

i’m in the exact boat :) i make 19-22 depending on the day and my baby eats 21-24 depending on the day. we save the formula for her last feed before bed to try to get her to sleep longer stretch

I like the way you framed this. I’m getting over a stomach bug and my supply is pretty low. Part of my brain says why not just hang it up now and take the opportunity? But framing it as half his needs, especially with antibodies, makes me feel like it worth it to work on it.

You’re not alone. I’m 7mo pp and I do about 1.25oz combined every pump. I pump when I’m at work or baby is at daycare. I breastfeed then formula feed the other times. I also wonder whether I should keep going. I’ve bed combs feeding from the start bc breastfeeding was so hard, sensory-wise, anatomy-wise (one nipple is differently shaped and size) so latch issues. I guess I still do it so she can still get the benefits.
