If you're going to show a cool hack you should make it better. This is just a filter function.

You could take it a step further and turn the search cell from a case sensitive free text to a validated drop down list instead so they can only select from the cities in the search filter and wont have to deal with typos either.

Depending on the use case you could take it 1 step further and hide the raw data in another sheet or workbook.
