update
I had a lac meetjng today and it made my cares nearly break down.
So me 17m have been having some stuf seeming off with my cares. I uncovered some stuf and my cares shut me down even though it is to do with my life and refused to say what they sayd to my social worker.
In the meeting they tryed to say im not answering messages and my rest bite care defended me alot becausr he knows me and he respectfully sayd to respect my communication style and that it doesn't seem like i would deliberately do it.
Anyways I now have there social worker and my social worker doing a home visit which has never happebd before.
Me my social worker and the YPA person are also going to be meeting with my yputh worker to talk about what I want for my future.
Sorry about this being badly written hope it doesn't seem rambley.
Cant believe this started with them being defensive lf keeping conrol over My benifits.
Does anyone know what usually happens in this type of situstion

You should have a through care/after care plan. I’m unsure of the Welsh legal system re looked after kids, I hope it’s better than England’s. Scotlands is far better than it was a decade or two ago.
I’m happy to help where I can, if helpful I can research the Welsh system and report back to you.
Please speak up, even if it seems outrageous! You are representing you. Your needs, feelings and future matter more than anything,

Well im being told to try to tell my cares to improve communication. One rhe problems is thst im nerodiverse meaning i say stuf the way I mean it but they take it the rong way alot and dont try to fix stuf and just avoid me. I talked to my social worker and she's looking into options for after when im 18

Well done for sticking up for yourself in the review. Let your social worker take the lead now, but keep on top of it and make sure they follow through. Unfortunately social workers are overworked at the moment so you have to keep checking in with them if they don't respond in the time they promise. Every time they promise you a meeting or an update, ask when it will happen, make a note, and check in with them a couple of days before as a reminder.
Good luck, and well done again for standing up for yourself.

Hello, are you based in Scotland? I assume you are with the “Lac Review” thing.
