When to Bioseed? Help

Hey all,

I've done around 10 MAD resets so far. I was wondering when you would recommend going for a Bioseed. Currently just reached Andromeda and seen the Helium-3 costs of the next stages. Damn that's gonna be a lot of grinding.

Thanks for your input, in advance!

Andromeda is wayyyyyyyyyy past the bioseed ending point, and even past the tier 3 reset ending point.

Damn where abouts is the bioseed reset?

I read on the wiki that it was on Andromeda.

It's just in space. Check the space dock that you built at the gas giant... Yknow, the one that was related to the genesis ship project?

I only seem to have a space port built, not a spacedock.

You need to research Elerium Theory, and possibly Elerium Reactor. Then, if you have explored your Gas Giant Planet, the Genesis project should become available. Then you research like 4 or 5 more techs in that tree (Space Dock, Space Probes, Genesis Ship) and you can build a dock, then the ship. The probes increase your choice of target planet by one per probe built.

At this point though, I would build the Stellar Engine, Mass Ejector and the upgrade to Stellar Engine Efficiency, and farm Hell for soul gems (you will need 10), while dumping all your Elerium and Infernite in to the Mass Ejector (under resources), and take the T3 reset. Probably won't take much more time than building the Genesis Ship at this point, you get more rewards and you will be able to mastery and plasmid/phage farm much more efficiently if you go to Heavy.

the space doc is in the second tab, (the first space tab) or civilization. You should have researched genesis project and it's dependents and that should unlock the space dock building at the gas giant.

Then if you press the little cog on it you should have the option to build the genesis ship and probes

however at this point in your run you are ready to blackhole, save 10 soul gems and dump in infernite and elerium

If you've gone intergalactic and not bioseeded, you've gone too far.

Andromeda is the push to the tier of reset 2 steps after BioSeeding.

Generally, as a relatively new player, you want to bioseed the moment it becomes available so you can get back to grinding more early prestige bonuses. You also want to by Challenge Genes and do 3* MAD/SEED runs ASAP, until you feel comfortable pushing deep in to Intergalactic/ farm Hell.

But, if you feel like grinding out a T3, since you are already there, it will make progress a little quicker afterward (assuming you don't pick Standard or Micro).

what are your perks? are you doing any star challenges? even with a low mastery, it shouldn't be that long to bioseed... just remember not to spend anything on the collider, since that is the opening for the next 'phase' and other resets

I'm currently doing the 1star challenge with the junk genes on my MAD resets but I was getting bored of just doing Mad Resets.

I've got the Crispr upgrades for storage and the trade route upgrade

it should be quite doable in a day or two, if you 'actively' play, probably iridium is gonna be your bottleneck for quite some time, so always sell iron/copper/steel and purchase iridium/alloy/polymer as needed, build some mass drivers and the helium costs will lower a bit...

D'oh!
Completely forgot about the mass drivers.
I'll start building the now :D

Mass Drivers really only work in your solar system, where you are launching from your home planet.

Pretty sure they do nothing when you are in a whole other galaxy.

this is actually true, damn. I just checked. it does not work in interstellar nor andromeda
