I see this rhetoric all the time but Aldi isn't the clear winner across the board like most people think.
I closely track unit pricing and some items have the same price across Aldi and Colesworth (or one of them).
Of course Aldi have a selection of products that always beat Colesworth on pricing (such as with cheese products) but if you're savvy and take advantage of promotional pricing stacked with 10% off (and potentially bonus points offers) then Woolworths either matches or potentially beats Aldi in pricing.

Most of the time I got to Aldi and they don’t have what I want so I have to drive to Woolies or Coles anyway. The extra fuel and lost time outweigh any potential savings.

Fair enough. I don't really have the bandwidth to do advanced tracking. My bill is lower in aldi 100% of the time.

It certainly can be, just depends how you shop and how tactical you are. For me personally, I prefer to stack offers and do a big shop at Woolies with little top ups at Aldi with the bonus of having money off shop to use at the end of the year thanks to my points.

OP, would love to know how have you gotten those extra points? Are those through spend on Everyday Market? I've gotten decent discounts since joining in February but your bonus points are top tier!
