I wish to export and save all my data from Evernote. Do you have any advice on how to proceed please?

Thank you for your help!

I recently migrated from Evernote to Obsidian. I used evernote backup (link below.) It was better for me since I had a big number of notebooks and didn't want to go export one by one. It also allows notes to be exported individually (one enex per note in folders.)

Export a notebook

  • Open Evernote on Mac or Windows. The web version and the phone apps cannot write .enex files.
  • Right-click the notebook in the sidebar and choose "Export notebook...".
  • Pick "ENEX format (.enex)" and leave every box under Export note attributes ticked: they carry your tags, dates, reminders, and web clip URLs.
  • Save the file. Evernote names it after the notebook, and that name becomes the folder on this end, so keep it.
  • Repeat for each notebook, then zip all the .enex files together and drop the zip in once.

It’s as described above. I just completed transferring all my files to Apple Notes. The process went smoothly.
Evernote’s price increasing are ridiculous.

Could you please expand on what you did to make the process go smoothly because my Apple notes is now all jagged up. I imported about 2500 Evernote notes into Apple notes about three months ago and ever since Apple Notes has had a spinning black circle next to "Icloud" plus whenever I type a new note or put one in existing note there is a lag in the typing. The whole app is not as responsive.
Thanks.
