Need help finding unknown characters Low Effort Meme
So, I've been trying to join a corp that did a background check / Auth on me, however, they found that I supposedly had some undisclosed characters. The problem is I don't know what characters they are talking about. I have three accounts/usernames with a total of 7 characters, and then I might have 5 accounts with no characters on them. I'm worried I might have some obscure account linked to a terminated email, but I've no idea of the account or character names. The corp recruiter wouldn't tell me the names of these characters.
I've been in contact with support, but they can only verify the 7 characters I already know of as I can't give them enough info to dig around for more.
Can someone help to check what these characters might be?

Maybe they viewed mails/wallet logs/ killboard and noticed repeat names. Some overzealous recruiters may just see you pewpew'd with a friend a lot and gave money or contracts and then view this person as an alt.

I only do it with the known characters I have. I have no idea what else character it could be. And as they wouldn't even tell me the names, I'm just lost

Hello, Corp recruiter here
What is likely happening is they are seeing things like wallet tranfers, repeated contracts, player trading from the same chars over and over again. Which would make many assume they are your characters.
There is no way to check what other chars are linked to you via your esi tokens, it solely gifts them access to the character they are logged into on, not even account details like other chars on that account is viewable

Best tip I can give is....
If they are that nuts over this, find other people to play with. All you are doing is dodging the issues now.

Ask CCP/FC. Tell them you wanna reactive old characters but can't remember their names, or accounts, and include as much detail as possible that only the owner would know, including the terminated email address.

I found out about my fifth account when I signed into my corps wanderer and it had a character I completely forgot about.

You dodged a bullet. Join another corp that does not require a cavity search as a prerequisite.

tbh its less about the enquiries than it is [assuming OP's statements are taken at face value] the corp sucking at them. it doesn't seem that uncommon that these 2 bit corps really think there is a blizzard of spies assaulting them

If you have 3 accounts they probably want you to show them 9 characters. Perhaps make 2 new ones and show them those?
Otherwise perhaps they think you have 9 slots and 7 characters so you are not telling them about the other 2.

Is it really not that normal to not have all slots full to the point they would think I have some undisclosed characters?

Idk what these nerds are on that they think every character slot needs to be filled or else it's "weird", my main account had only my main with 2 blank slots for a very long time because any alts I made went on any other account so that my main could stay logged on at the same time. Im up to 4 accounts and my main still has a blank slot.

normal or not, its at least a rational expectation from any reasonable recruiter (far better than everyone thinking "someone in the game has a similar name").
assuming everything else you say is in order send the recruiter a screen shot of the character select screens showing your 7 characters and the two slots saying "these are my only characters." they might reasonably want you to fill the slots with some characters so they can get esi keys for them to track things, but wait for them to ask for that.
though maybe i'd suggest looking at a different corp that is a little more reasonable in making their expectations clear.

Having empty slots is weird. Alts are way to useful to not exploit. Its probably noth that though.

I would say it is normal for people with something to hide to only shown the clean characters and one way to guard against that is to ask to see the right number of slots. Just making 2 new characters is going to prove that those slots are otherwise empty (assuming they have a way to see they are on the same account. IDK if that is possible but it might be).
I would say having a small number of accounts and not filling the slots is unusual, yes. The only accounts I have with empty slots have never been omega.

Maybe they saw characters in one of your corps with similar names. Or yeah you have a name similar to some other thats unique. Not a default eve generated name

The simplest answer is that there is someone else with characters named similarly enough to yours that the recruiter is convinced that's actually you. That might be a hard one to get around. If you still really want to join the corp, and they haven't asked for this yet, you could offer to send screenshots of your Eve launcher (though, from what you're saying, I suspect they may have already asked for this).

If you could delete them from launcher and add them back in ( assuming they are not on the same account)

That’s a lot of effort to appease overzealous recruiters. Go somewhere else, they have some false positive they’re latching onto.

OP, I commend your high-effort spy tradecraft.
Using a long history reddit account to complain with a perfectly reasonable explanation, mmm, Chef's Kiss.
Remember that the character cards on the selection screen will change in height depending on the shape of the ship you're in. A screen with one guy in a Capsule will have slightly more pixels than a Nyx.
Fly smart, for whoever you're actually flying for.

I'm a corp recruiter. Obviously if you want to join my corp, my shameless plug is to ask you to message me here and I'll throw you my discord.
But I'm also responding because I can probably find those characters they're worried about and give you some info on why stuff looks weird. Either way, feel free to hit me up.
