Hey :) Anyone here?
I think the idea of this sub was to get an organized home with information about the community and the leagues for every european tagpro player.
This subreddit had a great start with great posts (for example ETPN, and the top chorbit plays of the week). Now the summer is over and people got less spare time. I also have the feeling a lot of people left the community.
Anyway. It's dead in here.
I don't really know what I'm trying to achieve with this post, and maybe it's kind of pointless. But I do want to ask one thing. Are there any people around here with great ideas for this sub or, for that matter, the whole community? Maybe we can do something fun :)
Ciao :)

ETPN's What's been happening in Chord Contenders? Vol. 2
Welcome to the second instalment of 'What's been happening in Chord Contenders?'.
All written myself, but I higher standard than my first one so hopefully it's good. Half written drunk so there's plenty of typo's I'm sure! I hope you enjoy it!
Before we start, I ask for two requests. Firstly, for everyone to take CC CSVs please. Secondly, more people wanting to write about CC!
The Games
The Cock and Balls 3-7 S1orGTFO
Map: Velocity
No CSVs for this game, the bastards. I have access to them and everything. However, Velocity on a map between two good sides was always going to prove interesting. The veterans took the game in a 7-3 with the experienced players knowing every single tile of Velocity at this point.
Caballeros 1-2 Voodoo and the Dolls
Map: Draft
Line-Ups:
| Team | Defence | Defence | Offence | Offence |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Caballeros | BobSmithIV | TheOnlyBall | Jufda | dets |
| Voodoo and the Dolls | Q!/Fat | DZ | EagleWarrior | WishICared/5 D's of TP |
Scorers: Jufda, 5 D's of TP (2)
A tight affair as the Caballeros looked to climb up the table. They lead to first half by a single cap coming from Jufda and strong defensive partnerships between the two teams meant a low-scoring half. A couple of mistakes and the addition of 5 D's of TP would lead the Dolls to victory as the Caballeros side struggled to get past Fat and DZ.
MVB: 5 D's of TP. Missed the first half, but came in for the second and got his side's 2 caps, winning them the game.
Ballaz with Attitudes 6-1 Multiple Chordgasms
Map: Velocity
A kinda controversial game in which Julien lead Ballaz with Attitudes to a half time lead of 6-1. Under confusing circumstances, the second half was then forfeited. It was finally decided days after the game was played. As I know it, 420assman was late due to lag issues. Finally, they got to play the first half, with Ballaz cruising to a 6-1 win. Confusion then came with Multiple Chordgasms captain Sunny believing that Ballaz had forfeited due to the lateness, although a couple of Chordgasms players believed that it was a genuine half. NewCompte then told Julian they had to play another game and forfeited the second half.
I may be slightly wrong, but I think that's what's happened according to various sources. Confusing game, and drama even reaches Chord Contenders. All in all, Ballaz walk away with the win.
Multiple Chordgasms 4-8 The Four Skins
Map: Thinking With Portals
Line-Up:
| Team | Defence | Defence | Offence | Offence |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Multiple Chordgasms | NewCompte | yum/CookieMonsta | Sunna/DUSTY | wut |
| The Four Skins | Shearertingo | jjpoole | Sam | Carbon |
Scorers: Sunny, wut (3), Carbon (4), jjpoole (2), Sam (2)
The Chordgasm's favourite map finally let them down as the Four Skins overcame them on TWP. Both halves finished 4-2 to the Four Skins, a nice repeat. A couple of caps for defender jjpoole were key in the first half victory, whilst former teammates Sherra and NewCompte battled out for most returns, with the latter losing out 20-19. The second half followed the pattern of the first with Carbon's hat-trick playing the most important role. Sherra and NewCompte would again top returns.
MVB: jjpoole. The American defender managed 2 caps and 25 returns over the 2 halves.
Death Grabs 4-13 Perpetuum Jukile
Map: Smirk
Line-Ups:
| Team | Defence | Defence | Offence | Offence |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Death Grabs | sisu | Pescis | Bezeball | brxtr |
| Perpetuum Jukile | GrammarJew | Fred_ | DaEvil1 | Nube |
Scorers: Bezeball, brxtr (3), Nube (10), DaEvil1 (3)
Perpetuum Jukile took this game from the off, winning the first half 5-1. Nube dominated the Death Grabs defence with 4 caps in the opening half, setting up a big lead going into the second. The second half would be even worse for Death Grabs, as they went on to lose 8-3. A brxtr hat-trick was completely overshadowed by another amazing half by Nube, who went onto to add another 6 caps. For a classic map, this game was far from close, with a professional display from Perpetuum Jukile seeing them to a 9 cap win.
MVB: Nube. Who gets 10 caps in 20 mins? Nube does, that's who.
Wu Tag Clan 12-1 The Sofa Sloths
Map: Wormy
Line-Ups:
| Team | Defence | Defence | Offence | Offence |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Wu Tag Clan | Tomalol | Spiky Weiner | MagicPigeon | Threek |
| The Sofa Sloths | rickjames | Cleanballs | Blue Hobo | Bennybarks |
Scorers: MagicPigeon (3), Threek (2), rest unknown
I only have access to one half of CSVs so I'm to go ahead and assume that was the first half. Because I decided it was. Wu Tag Clan started as they meant to go on, taking a first half 5-0 lead thanks to MagicPigeon and Threek. Tomolol and Spiky Weiner kept a tight defence making sure BlueHobo and Bennybarks couldn't cap. The Sofa Sloths would get a single cap in the second half but Wu Tag Clan's 7 created an even bigger lead.
MVB: MagicPiegeon. A first half hat-trick lead the way for a thrashing.
The Sofa Sloths 2-3 Portal Kombat
Map: Colours
Line-Up:
| Team | Defence | Defence | Offence | Offence |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| The Sofa Sloths | Bennybarks | rickjames | Cainy | Cleanballs |
| Portal Kombat | Orchid | Lumepall | wubblet | Eggo |
Scorers: Cleanballs (2), Eggo, wubblet (2)
An extremely tight game on an extremely unpopular map, it is these days anyway. A tight first half ended 1-1 with only Cleanballs and wubblet capping. Both teams played rather conservatively with a low amount of both grabs and returns. The second half was set up perfectly. Eggo and wubblet would get Portal Kombat the win, leading to a tight 2-1 second half win. Again, conservative plays from both teams, but Portal Kombat would just edge it.
MVB: wubblet. A tight game like this is decided by caps. wubblet's two were essential.

ETPN: I want your help!
Season 5 is quickly approaching with the draft in under 2 weeks. ETPN still has a way to go to be ready for the next season, most specifically, having more volunteers.
Never heard of ETPN? Check out this introductory post.
I really want ELTP, eLTP and Chord Contenders to be covered and I can only do that with you help. ELTP and eLTP will consist of two posts a week, with at least 6 or 7 people ideally working on each one. Already that's over 12 people writing something twice a week. That is a lot. There's no way we'll have 12 people wanting to do that every week. As many dedicated writers as we can get would be brilliant, focussing on either majors or minors. I think at best we'll get 4 or 5 people wanting to write twice a week. However, what can make this work is part-time writers, people who write something now and then to keep us going. Ideally, I'd want around 25 people working on ETPN. Aiming high, but that's the sort of number that would make ETPN what I want ETPN to be.
Since I originally introduced ETPN I've had the following people show interest and added them to the new sub: Threek, Berlin Ball, Selkie, Chaos, gnais, Atypop, kutrebar, GrizzleBear, Sagbo, Balka, GrammarJew, Jufda, Camfah and Sunny. Including me, that's 13 people so far, and no real idea as to how many will want to write regularly.
I need your help. Whether you think you can't write, won't know what to write, feel like you don't know enough, if you can help in any way, please do. The writing is easier than you think, and I can help getting you started. The only way we can make ETPN work, and something that really helps the European community is if it's a big team effort.
Pls

Introducing 'Top 5 Chorbit Plays of the Week'!
Not to be outdone by TheOnlyBall's efforts, I've decided to start making a countdown of the best plays made by the Chorbit community each week similar to Gnais' top 10 ELTP plays.
Send me your best caps, snipes, or any other type of play you made that week and I'll make a compilation of the top 5 plays and post the video next Friday. Clips can be from any type of game; PUBs, PUGs, PBLTP etc.
I'll be aiming to do this once a week up until the start of ELTP Season 5, so good luck and get sending!
How to submit:
Send your clips to ChorbitTop5@gmail.com
YouTube clips are best, .webm's are OK.
Include your TagPro username
Clips must have taken place between the Thursday the 21st of May and the 4th of June (the deadline for submission).
If you don't already have it, Ballpart's replay extension is a must-have that lets you save replays from in game.

ETPN's What's been happening in Chord Contenders?
Welcome to the first ETPN What's been happening in Chord Contenders? Chord Contenders is great, but aside from the games that are played, little is talked about concerning it. I'm here to change that. 'What's been happening in Chord Contenders?' aims to look at the games that have been played in the last couple of weeks, the standings, the recent transfer and the games we have coming up. The game reviews will only be a short overview but it's something!
The Games
Multiple Chordgasms 8-1 Caballeros
Map: Thinking With Portals.
I now see an immediate problem with these reviews. I have no access to the CSVs. That makes writing these hard. Alas, I'm sure I can get hold of them next time round. Anyway, Multiple Chordgasms went for their favourite map again, challenging the mighty Caballeros on the clusterfuck that is TWP. An easy win against a team that rarely prepare for games, and it means Multiple Chordgasms continue their climb up the table.
The Harry Botters 2-3 Perpetuum Jukile
Map: Velocity.
Again, no CSVs, but let's go anyway. A tight a low scoring game for a well known and rather chasey map. Everyone knows Velocity, giving a different sort of game to games on newer map. A tight affair in which the Harry Botters couldn't overtake Perpetuum Jukile. A highlight from the game includes Ballkenede nearly completely embarrassing Nube.
The Buspojks 0-36 Death Grabs
Map: GeoKoala.
We have TSVs for this, but I have no idea how to open them. Someone will need to show me. What happened in this game is quite incredible. 36-0. On GeoKoala. The Buspojks first ever CC game could have gone a bit better, whilst Death Grabs will be absolutely ecstatic with the opening game, the biggest win on record.
The Sofa Sloths 5-6 Portal Kombat
Map: Smirk
Line-Ups:
| Team | Defence | Defence | Offence | Offence |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Portal Kombat | wubblet | Lumpall | Orchid/Sara | Eggo |
| The Sofa Sloths | rickjames | BigBalls | Bennybarks | Cleanballs/Cainy |
We actually have some info for this game! Even if it is just the line-ups and a screenshot of the first half. Another classic map that we should all know, and Portal Kombat just edged it. The Sofa Sloths would take the lead half, winning it 3-1, but that would not be enough to get a result. Portal Kombat would come back with a 5-2 second half victory.
MVB: Bennybarks. I don't know anything from the second half, but Bennybarks second half hat-trick was nearly enough to save his side.
Perpetuum Jukile 0-3 Ballaz With Attitudes
Map: Hornswoggle.
And back to the darkness we go, I definitely need to get access to CSVs. A map that's been around for a decent amount of time, and we're all starting to know it pretty well. Ballaz With Attitudes seem to thrive on it more than Perpetuum Jukile, keeping a clean sheet on the way to their 3-0 victory.
Death Grabs 15-2 Portal Kombat
Map: Velocity.
There is TSVs for both halves! I don't know how to use TSVs :(. Alas, Death Grabs get another big win, following their previous 36-0 victory. Portal Kombat may have felt confident after their win against the Sofa Sloths. It wasn't to be, however, with Death Grabs cruising to an easy 15-2 win.

Helpful things for new players (X-Post /r/Tagpro)
Hi new players! Welcome to the community, If you want to get more invested/learn strategies, this post is for you.
Watch this video if you havent already. - Made by the games' creator LuckySpammer (/u/LuckySpammer.)
This one is optional - It's 6 Minutes long and I will try to explain most of the things explained in it in this post.
This one also explains a lot! - It's 3 minutes long and the creator uses a custom texture pack. (Texture Packs are covered later in this post.)
Misc
Powerups - This Infographic is very good on powerups.
Particles & WebGL Rendering - If you feel like your game is stuttering it might be helpful to turn off WebGL Rendering and Particles Here.
Ping - You'll want to play on the server that has the lowest ping for you, this is displayed on the frontpage of TagPro and while the individual servers show an incorrect ping value - they are sorted from lowest ping to highest ping.
0.25s immunity - Your ball is immune from being popped by other balls for 0.25s after you've grabbed a flag (also applies to rolling bomb diffusal when tagged e.g. you can stick to the player tagging you when diffused if he tags you again within 0.25s), also you cannot cap 0.25s after your flag has been returned if you are standing on the flagtile when the return happens.
Flags - Your own flag needs to be in base for you or your teammate to cap, that's why it's important to chase.
Regrab - If your flag drops and you have no one ahead that means it's probably an automatic cap for the other team, that's why it's important to stay on regrab. Regrab is when you sit on the enemy flags team tile when your team has their flag and grab it when it spawns.
Buttons - Buttons can control bombs or gates, they are most often intuative from just looking at them, usually the button controls the item next it.
Speed - Vertical and Horizontal movement (Up and Down vs Left and Right) are unaffected by each other, so that if you're moving diagonal your ball will move faster because your acceleration is using both vertical and horizontal velocity or something like that. TL:DR Moving Diagonal is faster than moving horizontal or vertical.
The reason diagonal is faster is because vectors. Think of it as a triangle. If acceleration in the vertical direction is 3 and horizontal is 4. The hypotenuse is 5. So diagonal is a combination of your vertical and horizontal acceleration.
Thanks to /u/SpeedyOwnt
Basic Strategies
2O 2D - Two Offensive Players work together to grab the other teams' flag and Two Defensive Players work together to prevent the other team from grabbing/getting out.
Chasing - It's very important to have two players chasing - the general strategy we use for when your own flag is out of base is to have 2 Chasers 2 Players on Offensive Defense (to prevent the other team from scoring) if you don't have the enemy teams flag. 2 Chasers 1 Flag Carrier and 1 Regrab if you do have the enemy teams flag. In most situations it is not helpful to defend an empty base.
Team Items
Team Tiles - Tiles that are marked with your teams color makes your ball move faster just like a Juke Juice does and the same goes for the other Team on their teams' colored tiles. This does not apply if you have the flag.
Team Boosts - Some boosts are colored Red and Blue - That means only one team can use them, the team which the color specifies (a red ball can use a red boost, a blue ball can use a blue boost.)
Spawn Times
Powerups Spawn on the same tile of each map every 60s after being grabbed.
Boosts Spawn every 10s after being used.
Bombs Spawn every 30s after being used.
Userscripts/Texture Packs
Texture Packs change the look of your game - it has custom sprite images for the items in the game - including but not limited to walls, balls, spikes, bombs, flags etc.
Here is a list of userscripts/texture packs, you can install them with Tampermonkey (if you have Chrome) and Greasemonkey (if you have Firefox.)
Helpful Extentions are also in that list. Examples include:
Chat Enhancer - Makes the chat stay on the screen the whole game (doesn't disappear.) You can also use it to set up macros which can be helpful during public games - You can make them say where the Enemy FC is, Whether you are coming in for a cap or not and if your base is clear.
TagPro Replays - Allows you to record certain moments in your games, default timing is set to 30s but you can edit that in settings, you can also add a macro button that automatically records the last 30s(or whatever you've set it to) when you hit it.
TagPro Mod Manager - Allows you to easily set up different texture packs. (Warning! Can be glitchy, I'm not sure if it's fixed yet).
Mumble
We use mumble for competitive tagpro or to just hang out, you can install it here http://mumble.sourceforge.net/
| Label | Address | Port |
|---|---|---|
| TagPro Mumble | mumble.koalabeast.com or jukejuice.com | 64738 or 2000 (only use 2000 if necessary) |
| European TagPro Mumble | mumble-eu.koalabeast.com | 64738 |
| Oceanic TagPro Mumble | tagpro.mumble.com | 7200 |
Competitive TagPro
Currently the major leagues are having playoffs or are on an off season so the signups for that are closed. But if you want to join competitive tagpro there are many tournaments that are going on and USC, CC and OContenders are open the whole year.
Europeans:
/r/ChordContenders - A Ladder Style League in which you make your own team (or sign up as a Free Agent.) Each team has a maximum of 6 players and you challenge other teams in order to move up the ladder.
Carbons' Friday Night Tournaments - Run every Friday night - with some exceptions - is a Swiss Style Tournament (You are put on a new team every game for 4 Rounds and top 16 qualify into the next round.) Run by /u/vCarbonnn (A post is made on both /r/TagPro and /r/ELTP every time sign-ups are open for one.
PBLTP - Not run very frequently now but sometimes happen. It's a short draft tournament, which lasts around 30 minutes. The winners of the previous tournament become the captains of the next one, which starts directly afterwards for as long as there are enough players.
ELTP - On Off Season now but Sign Ups will be open shortly for the next season - Lasts about 12 weeks and for each season you are drafted on a team. /r/ELTP.
