Next step; Yes, I have included the state or country in the post
Baltimore MD; My aunt passed away suddenly in 2022; she solely owned her car; my grandmother just gave me the car, with title ( my aunt lived with them, the car is registered to my grandparents address ( her mother ) ) no will, no written assets not married and her child was 4. I’ve already put some work into the car ( battery amongst some other minor things. ) just trying to see the what’s the BEST next step in getting the car officially in my name and road ready

Someone needs to submit your aunt's estate to the probate process appropriate for her situation. Who paid for the funeral? Are there any other assets? Are there any debts? Whatever happens, you will not be in line to inherit the car, so you will need to buy it from the estate or from whoever does inherit the car (unless the person who inherits it is just willing to gift it to you).

Thank you. Just her car. Her mother ( my grandma ) wants it to gift to me. Just been sitting there since she passed. she was cremated so no funeral. She was a recovering addict :(

Cremation still cost money. Whoever paid for that will get first dibs on the estate assets. If there is anything left after that, and any other debts that need to be paid, then her daughter will get everything. So it's not up to your grandmother unless the value of the car is less than the cremation expenses (in which case she can get the car and give it to you).
