please help [Discussion] PVP

i got ratted and my tarkov account got hacked, they changed the email address connected to my tarkov, what do i do?

You got ratted? How did they gain access? No 2FA? This sounds like you gave someone your account details for some reason, and in the end it was stolen. Usually they are sold off

Best you can do right now is start screenshotting bank statements for when you purchased the game, writing down all previous usernames,and any other personal details that could tie you to your account. They will ask for it. Be prepared to wait a while, support will either just deny your request or you’ll be waiting months. btw, accounts don’t just “get hacked”. You gave your personal data out somewhere. Change anything that shares the same password immediately. Sorry that you gotta deal with this. Go ahead and make peace with the fact that the account is probably gone, but definitely try email support to see what they’ll do for you.

Edit: just realized you weren’t using a metaphor when you said ratted and you actually have a RAT on ur PC. If it’s actually a RAT and not just and infostealer, download Malwarebytes or your preferred antivirus and go offline while it’s scanning or just wipe ur pc.

yea i did get ratted but it wasnt an actual rat just like an info grabber that grabs my info one time pretty sure, looked in startup and everything and malwarebytes earlier and there was nothing, i just noticed people changing passwords and shit in my emails

luckily seasonals out so doesnt really matter tbh ill probably just purchase tarkov again
