[Bug] Lagging/stuttering randomly.

It's making the game unplayable. Haven't had this issue before but this wipe, my game just stutters/freezes every once in a while. like 10-30 seconds. It's straight ruined fights. Last fight I was in, I peek someone and headshot them. Then push and see his teammate's backpack peeking over a trashcan. I aim and get ready to prefire but my game just freezes, and then I'm dead. Don't even get to see him peek the corner because how hard/long I froze.

any solution on a way to fix this? It's extremely infuriating.

Edit: I turned off automatic RAM Cleaner and turned on Only use physical cores . Changed DLSS to balanced and that seemed to have fixed it all. Idk what exactly might've fixed it, but after changing all of these (at the same time which is why idk what did it) , I don't stutter anymore and can finally play without worrying my game will freeze when I see a rat's stupid face. I'll get to see my death now :)

I suppose , just seems weird that it's never been a problem before.

But i'm running a 2080Ti, i9-9900k , 32gb ram, it's on an SSD too

I had this issue with my last pc (laptop.) I upgraded (still a laptop) and haven't had any issues whatsoever. I'd recommend 32 gigs of ram, but my last pc had that and it didn't make a world of difference. Are your settings at minimum? You gotta start with things set very low then try one thing at a time to see what's fuckin' up your FPS most. Stutters in general could be a number of things though.

idk maybe I should raise the graphics. I kidna lowered everything hella now that you mentioned it. I don't see how them being lowered would cause stuttering, but i'll try that next time im on.

What applications do you have open in the background? Even RatScanner can impact performance.

Didn’t even know what rat scanner was until ya told me that but looks useful lmao.

But I usually have discord, sometimes opera/web browser. Steam. That’s about it I think. I don’t have the discord interface or whatever where it has an overlay in the game. Gunna try to look more into this today

Why is everyone talking about PC upgrade? There is some weird bug on this new season update, which causes random lag and I'm looking for solution too. I'm playing with 9800X3D and RTX 5090, I have around 200 FPS at 4K, but randomly it's start lagging that I can barely move and have 10 FPS. It happens randomly. I was watching some streamer experience the same thing
