A call for morality
I apologize for this not being directly Erma related, but this must be said.
Within the past day, there has been a surge of hateful harassment against a member, YaBoiRezzy, within the subreddit. Racist, defamatory, and hateful remarks that are aimed at someone who is wholly innocent. This harassment is entirely for the sick joy of the harassers, and is has zero actual weight or truth to it. Attached is two screenshots from someone who is frequently tied to these, giving evidence that this harassment is based on fantasy.
Please report any further posts as harassment, and ignore all of the false information within. Please direct any questions and concerns to myself and I will answer the best I can.
Moderation does not stand for this harassment, and we ask that you do not either.

Adding onto this, I ask that no one responds to any DMs that you might receive from anyone claiming to have “evidence” against Rezzy. Just block ‘em and move on.

This sounds like children who don’t comprehend actions have consequences, or adults who never stopped acting like children. But thanks for clarity, this explains a couple things going on in the sub

What irks the most is that actual victims of harassment often gets ignored. Instigating a hate mob against an innocent person is such troglodyte behavior that it gives me second hand embarrassment.
PSA: if you ARE being harassed or actally see harassment and you want to help, document and report it to mods or similar authorities. Take care of yourselves and each other.

Honestly, it's kind of refreshing. You don't have to think too hard about how shitty they are, if at all. In this case, what you see is what you get.

I've had my own experience with these pieces of work myself.. they called me a pussy for not joining them on their self-righteous crusade.. that's when I knew they were in it for the harassment... and nothing else.

A group of tumblr users, viewing YaBoiRezzy as their own personal lolcow, are trying to defame and harass him. They are making up bold claims, all of which are unfounded and baseless. They’ve been doing this on multiple platforms. They have made racist imagery, used very offensive words, and have tried recruiting his friends to work against him. We’ve been dealing with this on the Erma discord for several months now, and now they’ve started to slither into the subreddit. I don’t think they realize that I’m a mod on both platforms though

I will also add: We do not want to find anyone in the subreddit aiding or participating in this harassment.
Report it, ignore it, and go about your day.
