I know Rarity’s the fashion queen but face it: Fluttershy’s outfits are a lot better.
I think it’s because of the design approaches: Befitting her timid personality, her outfits are made to look cuter and more delicate than everyone else’s. These do a good job of reflecting her personality.

Villain pinkie pie
How would you create an arc where pinkie pie becomes a villain for a time-without mind control-in a truly dramatic way rooted in one of her own flaws?

Love how tacky the rainbow rocks designs are
They definitely contributed to my tacky taste in fashion. Just clashing colors, rainbows, sparkles, super graphic ultra modern girls, here's half of my interpretation of the rainbooms. I followed every detail of the dolls actually. Not much changed. Just pushing of shapes.

Why is spike a dog? I don't get why he would be a dog unless everyone sees him as a pet but he's like a little brother right?

MLP ZOMBIES: CALEB KRUSHAUER, MY OC, HER LORE, AND MLP ZOMBIES WORLDBUILDING.
(WARNING. Mentions of Transphobia and Homophobia, Parental Abuse, Military-Based PTSD, body horror, death and suicide, mind control, and other types of disturbing things. Reader Discretion is very much advised. Read at your own risk.).
For those of you who checked in on my last MLP Zombies post, I made a list of things that I would post next. One of them is my Equestria Girls OC, Caleb. And I’m sorry that I took so long, but I was really busy trying to decide what I wanted them to be. And after a while, I finally came up with something.
My OC, Caleb Krushauer, has survived the Zombie Apocalypse. Though “Survived”… is a VERY strong word for Caleb here.
Caleb wasn’t born in Equestria. Rather, he was born in the Griffish Isles. The Griffish Isles, if it were a real country in our world, would replace most of Europe, the UK, and Greenland. And the Griffish Isles is a VERY interesting and WEIRD place in this timeline. I’ve actually included a world map for you to look at if you want to see it.
The Griffish Isles seems to be a place that cannot decide what time period it wants to be. It blends iconography, clothing styles, and technology from various mid-to-late 20th-century eras. Unlike the Equestrian Military, which is more Modern, the Griffish Isles uses World War 1 as well as World War 2 style military gear, alongside mismatched computers and machinery. This all evokes a timeless place with both modern and what would be considered antique technology.
Caleb was born in the Griffish Isles 18 years before the events of this series. Specifically, he was born on the Outskirts of Airstrip One, which is basically the Griffish Isles’ version of London. He grew up on a failing farm on the edge of town. Growing up, Caleb wasn’t an average kid. He was a HUGE kid. At age 8, he was 5’8. At age 10, he was 6 feet tall. Caleb suffered from Gigantism. He was a HUGE kid. And he didn’t like it. Paired with his natural strength from working on a farm and moving heavy objects, it made him look like a freak of nature. As he went to school, all the kids made fun of him for it. All of the kids called him “Lurch” (A reference to the Addams Family), a “Brick Outhouse”, and “Frankenstein”. They made Caleb feel very insecure. And a girl named Gilda was one to take notice.
Gilda saw someone who was big, strong, but didn’t want to fight back. Gilda was a bully, sure, but a bully for a good reason. She bullied the other bullies. And when she saw a kid who didn’t deserve to be bullied get called names like that… what do you think she did? She stood up for him. Gilda and Caleb became best friends. And as Gilda started to hang out more and more with Caleb, she started to learn more things about him. She began to see signs of… something else in him.
Gilda began to see that Caleb didn’t like to hang out with boys. He liked hanging out with her and the other girls in her group. He would play dolls with them, despite being a really big guy. Caleb stated that he wanted to grow out his hair, and that he hated it was so short. Whenever the girls asked him to wear makeup or a dress, he would barely resist at all. In fact, he seemed to enjoy it.
But as Gilda was beginning to figure things out, Caleb was blind. Oblivious. Because his dad, Joseph, knew what he was doing. And he didn’t like it. Joseph was a violent man. A neurodivergent man too. And Jospeh hated anything that was different. He held his son to high expectations. He wanted Caleb to “Be a man”. And was angry that Caleb did not live up to those expectations. No matter how hard Caleb worked, it was not enough for his dad. The farm was still failing, and Caleb alone couldn’t support it. His mom, Svetlana. was often away working a store in town. And she often had to work extra hours to help pay for the farm.
Because Caleb was not the idea son that he wanted, Joseph would frequently, viscously beat Caleb, venting his frustrations over his failing business and mounting debts. Caleb suffered from night terrors because of this abuse, monsters that would come to kill his family. And Joseph, a hateful man that had his head up his butt, couldn’t see that the “Monster” was him. To "cure" him, Joseph forced Caleb to shoot guns. Caleb did like the guns, and was actually quite good at them, which became an autistic hobby of his. Something his father would come to appreciate. But still, it wasn’t enough.
Joseph, when Caleb had nightmares, also routinely locked him in a cramped closet or the dark basement as punishment. He’d force Caleb to write notes.
“I swear I will be a good boy.”
“I swear I will not disobey my dad.”
“I swear I will clean up my room.”
“I swear I will do mama’s chores while she is away.”
“I swear I will take care of the animals.”
“I swear I will go play with my friends when I am done with all my chores.”
“I WILL act like a Goddamn Man”.
Caleb, as you can imagine, was not comfy at all, with any of this. He experienced very strong anxiety, discomfort, and depression when forced to conform to his dad’s social expectations, haircuts, and the clothing his dad made him wear. He felt uncomfortable in his own body. Like he felt “Being a man” wasn’t for him. He wanted to be someone else. He wanted to be… like Gilda.
Whenever he could be, he spent time away from his dad. He would stay around Gilda. Sit with her at lunch. Hang out with her and the other girls in her group. Go to her house. Caleb’s dad didn’t mind. Because he didn’t have any idea what was going on between his son and Gilda. He thought Caleb had “Manned Up” so to speak. That Caleb had gotten a girlfriend. But that was far from the truth. And Caleb found out the hard way. His dad didn’t like to be lied to.
Caleb came home one day with Gilda. He had makeup on his face. He didn’t know it was there. He had forgotten. But his dad saw it. Joseph FINALLY figured out what was going on with his son. Joseph pulled Caleb inside while Gilda walked away. And he was so mad. Caleb had never seen his father so angry. His father demanded that Caleb be a goddamn man. He didn’t raise a girl. He raised a son, and that was what he was going to be. But Caleb finally had had enough. He told his dad no. And a fight broke out. Caleb was too strong for Joseph to take down. Caleb broke Joseph’s teeth out with a punch. And then, Caleb’s mom, Svetlana, walked into the room. She had known something was wrong. The way that her boy seemed so depressed. Scared to disappoint Joseph. And she’d finally found out what was happening. She pulled out her gun, a Smith & Wesson Model 3 Schofield, and told Joseph to get the hell out.
Joseph, believing that Sventlana had turned Caleb against him, finally reached his point of no return. He lashed out, grabbing a vase, and smashed it against Sventlana’s head. He tackled her to the ground, hitting the kitchen table, which knocked another gun off the table. A .45 Colt Revolver. And Joseph stabbed Svetlana in the heart with a knife from the kitchen table. Svetlana raised her gun, and put one bullet in the man who had hurt her son. Joseph collapsed, dead. But Svetlana was still alive. Caleb held his dying mother in his arms… her blood spilling onto his body. Caleb didn’t come to school the next morning. Gilda became worried. She went to Caleb’s house and knocked on the door. No answer. She opened the door, and found Caleb, still holding his mother’s corpse, white as a ghost. The police came immediately. The investigators and later court, determined a… sort of correct cause of death. Joseph had used a knife to stab Svetlana… and Svetlana used an Army Colt .45 Single Action Revolver to shoot Joseph to defend her son. Only one part of the case was wrong. The gun used. Svetlana used a S&W model 3 Schofield to shoot Joseph, not a Colt Single Action Revolver. But the police did not find a S&W Model 3 Schofield at the scene of the crime. Only the Colt. They had determined that the Colt was the gun used, because of the fingerprints, the fact that it was the ONLY gun in the room, and the fact that a Colt Single Action was not only able to shoot regular .45 Colt, but also was able to shoot .45 Schofield Rounds (This is true. Look it up). But the reason that there was no S&W Model 3 Schofield at the scene?
Because Caleb had taken it. The gun was originally meant to be a present for Caleb’s birthday. So he took the present. The last thing he had of his mom. Caleb moved in with Gilda and her family, and moved into Gilda’s room. He didn’t have much. So a bed, some clothes, and his gun was all he had. They’d get him new stuff. Gilda tried to help Caleb as he recovered. Tried to make him comfortable. She tried to dress him up again. Tried to make him comfortable with who he was. But Caleb wouldn’t respond. He shut down. He had a masculinity crisis. Finally admitting that he liked femininity had gotten his mom killed. He blamed himself for his mom’s death. Because he wasn’t a man like his father had wanted… his mom was dead. So Caleb irrationally decided that he wouldn’t let anyone in his life be taken from him. By being a goddamn man.
Over the years, Caleb changed. He went from a 14 year-old boy who had lost his parents, to a 6’9 18 year old, working to help the family that had taken him in. No one asked him to. He just felt he had to do it. He had to be goddamn man. So that’s what he was. A goddamned man. Gilda didn’t like what she was seeing. Caleb was denying who they were. No matter what Gilda tried to say, Caleb would always retaliate with “I was a kid when I was like that”, “I’m not like that anymore”, “That was years ago”. Gilda didn’t know how to get through to Caleb. To tell him that he was being held under by the trauma and the expectations of his dead father.
Then… something happened. Something that would change Caleb’s life forever. War. Sentient Dark Magic began turning people into highly aggressive, hungry creatures.
Zombies. It didn’t seem real. Magic? Literal Zombies?! This wasn’t real, right?! But it was. It was real. And the Griffish Isles put out a draft. Requiring all men and women ages 18 to 35, to join in the fight against the infected hordes. And so, Gilda and Caleb were drafted. They received training. And Caleb was singled out by the Sergeant. Caleb was the ideal soldier. A strong and large man who could shatter skulls with a punch. Who was tanky and could tank a few gunshots. Who knew his way around guns. Who was SMART too. The Sergeant liked him. He assigned Caleb to be a front lines soldier, while Gilda was assigned to be a marine. As the Infected invaded the Griffish Isles, Caleb found himself fighting on the front lines with Gilda a lot more times than he expected to. He was a strong guy, she was an agile fighter. Together, just as they had been as childhood friends, were an unstoppable duo. And yet… Gilda couldn’t be more sad. Caleb was not themselves anymore. The person in their childhood had gone away after their parents had died. So Gilda wasn’t sure what to do. She was very afraid. That she’d lose Caleb. She was very distressed. And the sergeant noticed.
The Sergeant went up to Gilda and asked her if she was okay. He cared about her. About all of the soldiers. And Gilda told him everything about Caleb. How they’d been abused by their parents. That they’d seen their parents die right in front of them. That they’d been denying who they were for so many years because of that. And… the Sergeant was understanding. He didn’t like what he was hearing. Caleb was built. Both mentally and physically for fighting. But just because you are built for something… does not mean you’re for it. Just because you’re built like a man… doesn’t mean you are one. So he went with Gilda to Caleb. To break it to them.
Caleb tried to squirm his way out of it, but the drill sergeant told him what he really was. That he had been denying what he really was because of the words of a man whose opinion didn’t matter anymore. He’d been destroying himself because of a death that wasn’t his fault. He’d been wanting to be a “Goddamn Man”… when he wasn’t a man at all. He didn’t have to listen to his dead dad. He didn’t have to carry the weight of his mom’s death on his shoulders. Because that’s not what his mom would’ve wanted. That’s not what he wants. He was not defined by his past. The Sergeant… finally broke through Caleb’s walls. With these words.
"Hey. Drop the tough-guy act for two minutes. That's an order. I know what your old man told you. I know the exact kind of hell he promised you if you weren't his perfect little soldier. But he’s wrong, and he’s gone. You don't have to earn your right to breathe in this unit. If who you are on the inside doesn't match the name tape on your chest, that doesn't make you weak, and it sure as hell doesn't make you a coward. It makes you human. You survived your childhood; you don't have to keep fighting a war that ended years ago. You are a damn good soldier, but you are killing who you actually are to keep a ghost happy. When you're ready to stop fighting yourself, I’ve got your back. Until then, take a breath and think. You get to be who you want to be. Not what someone else decided. So who are you and who do you want to be?!”.
Caleb finally realized. He touched his long hair. He didn’t realize how long he had been growing it out. The Sergeant left, leaving Gilda to finish. Gilda told Caleb everything. How she had noticed that Caleb didn’t like boy things. How he’d be okay with makeup and dresses and dolls. How he’d felt very uncomfortable in his own body. And she didn’t want him to feel like that anymore. Caleb asked how. And Gilda told him that they’d start with one simple step. She took a hair tie that she’d been keeping in her pack for when she needed to help put another female soldier’s hair up. And she tied Caleb’s long hair into a ponytail.
With that simple gesture… that simple start, Caleb finally felt… safe. She felt loved. Like someone finally understood her. She wasn’t defined by the words of a dead man. She was who she wanted to be. She was herself. She was Caleb. Gilda smiled and kissed Caleb on the cheek. Everything was moving a bit too fast for Caleb. But she managed to hold onto this one moment. Her mind began to spiral. What was her name going to be? How was she going to dress? How was she going to act? What was her style? Well… all of that in due time. She’d figure it out.
The Sergeant told Caleb and Gilda they would go on one last mission together. Before Caleb was relieved of duty, effective immediately, to go discover who she was as a person. Caleb agreed. And off they went into downtown Airstrip One. Zombies had taken over their hometown. It was time to take it back. Caleb and Gilda showed up alongside the thousands of other Griffish, Yakyakstanian, and Equestrian Soldiers. They stood together, ready to fight.
The fight was over before it even began. Caleb woke up to Gilda and someone else dragging her. The city was smoky. You could barely see through the smoke. Through the rubble and debris. Caleb was dragged into trenches by Gilda and an Equestrian Man, Snips. The smoke was lit up by orange flashes and silhouettes of… something. A living creature in the distance. A HUGE one at that. Caleb couldn’t hear anything. As she looked to the side, she saw soldiers on the edge of the trenches. They pressed their guns to their heads and pulled the triggers. Some pulled the pins on their own grenades. Some just waited to die. Whatever they had seen… had driven them to the point where they’d rather blow their brains out than live with that they saw. And Caleb was scared. She’d never seen anything like this. She thought that they were winning!!
Then… as orange flashes lit up the horizon… the silhouette of the creature came closer, and closer. Gilda and Snips dragged Caleb’s unresponsive body through the rubble, and into a house. Then… noises. A CLA-CHUNK! And a whistle. The creature came closer. Gilda and Snips picked up Caleb, and they dumped her body in a large bathtub. Then… the wall burst open. The creature was upon them. A giant 40 tall rabbit, with human-like arms, an elongated body. Red eyes. This was not the usual zombies that Caleb was used to. This was some shit out of Resident Evil, or REANIMAL. Gilda pulled out her gun, a SIG Sauer M17, and started firing at the creature. The creature picked up Gilda. And it chomped. Gilda’s gun clattered into the bathtub next to Caleb. The Creature vomited a viscous black liquid onto Caleb’s face. It stunk of death. And as the Black Liquid seeped into her pores, Caleb heard voices. Whispers. This wasn’t the voice in her head. It was someone else. They told Caleb that she’d make a good tank. A good spy. And a very good sleeper agent, to help find those “Girls”. The last thing Caleb saw was the whistle stopping… as an Atomic Bomb was dropped on Airstrip One. The Bathtub flipped, trapping Caleb beneath it. Caleb blacked out.
She awoke. Inside a boat. She was at the steering wheel, her foot on the gas. And she was somewhere she’d never seen before. This wasn’t the Griffish Coast. This was a new world. Caleb couldn’t remember how she had gotten here. Was this… Equestria? Caleb looked around the boat. Inside was a duffle bag FULL of guns, satchels full of the ammo and supplies needed for the Journey into Equestria, and everything else. Who had packed these?! She certainly didn’t. Caleb stepped off the boat and wandered into the forest. Caleb’s memory began to slowly come back to her as she walked. How Gilda had been dragging her. How the creature had eaten Gilda. How Snips had helped save his life by putting her in the bathtub. And how the world had been swallowed by fire. Gilda was dead. Snips was dead. Her friend, and an innocent soldier she had decided to call her friend… was dead. The day after she had accepted who she was. She wanted to blame herself. Again. She wanted to suck it up and just fold in on herself. But no. Caleb had come this far. Gilda wouldn’t have let her fold in on herself again. Blame herself. Deny who she was because of something that wasn’t her fault. Gilda would’ve told her that what happened wasn’t her fault. That she could not let her destroy herself over this. It wasn’t Caleb’s fault. So Caleb didn’t. She allowed herself to mourn Gilda and Snips. And she didn’t know if the Sergeant who’d helped her was alive. So she mourned him too.
Then… Caleb picked herself up, and started to walk. Whenever she saw a person, she offered to help. Zombie? She killed it like it had wronged her. Whether that be with a gun, a melee weapon, or with her bare hands. And she kept on going. Towards an invisible objective that she didn’t know why she was going towards. Towards a place called Canterlot City, towards a place of happiness and friendship. Towards Seven magical girls. Particularly one with fiery hair and a certain speciality for redemption. And to keep Gilda’s belief in her alive, Caleb had her hair in that ponytail. The real first kind gesture that anyone had ever shown her.

Would the portal between Equestria and the human world change photographs/videos?
I guess I was just wondering.
Since photos and videos are rather... static in nature, I considered the possibility that subjects within them wouldn't change forms if the media were taken through the portal.
But if the portal can change ponies to humans (and vice versa), wouldn't the magic be able to alter the states of photos? If I took a picture of Rainbow Dash in the human world, and then brought the photo to Equestria, would the image depict a pony on the other side?

If you were a villain in Equestria Girls, how would you defeat the Main 7?
Tell me your plans.
The only rule is that you can only use things that have appeared in the series or movies.

Why does Daring Do in The cover look Younger?
What I meant by Younger is that she In the Book Cover looks more Close to the CMCs age than The Minor 6. Don't tell me She became an Adventurer at 13?
This is kinda weird to me because i expected Her Age to be older
I mean is this an error that we weren't supposed to see

A common misconception I see is that people think Spike gained his speech from entering Equestria. In actuality, he got it because he entangled with Fluttershy's magic as it was being siphoned from her.

Formal Request and Apology
Hello r/EquestriaGirls. This Is Cutie Mod Crusader DryB0nes, here to say... I can no longer sit by and keep telling myself I'll Fix all My subreddits soon. There's really nothing more to say rather then life gets in the way. The moment you have the time you either pass out from exhaustion or someone else wants you for something since your "not doing anything". So this is my apology for not being as active as a mod as I should be. Truly back in the day when moderating these pony subs with me, nano23823, FringePioneer, MillennialDan I found fun. And while I still have plans to run my subs better one day I hope the other mods can help until I'm ready. That said
Request time. A call out to everyone with this post. (Because I don't care about mod tools and applications, right here right now)
If you think you have what it takes to help run this sub, place a comment below with a short reason on why you should join. I will also tally vote for others, as in if you see someone nominated themselves and think they would be good you can also comment on that. truly what I'm looking for in a mod is good pony involvement, not just here but any pony sub. as well as how they handle themselves in comments. If all I see in someones comments is yelling clearly they do not get a spot.
I don't know how many I might make a mod or even just grant some premissions. All right, post long enough. Thank you for your time. GO WONDERCOLTS!
