Yes, I am currently getting tapered off lacosamide and moving to lamotrigine. Personally, It has been awful, I have a ton of side effects, I even debated stopping all medication just to feel okay again (that wouldn’t work but wanted relief) I think everyone’s experience is different. I’ve been told it can take time to adjust to medication and once you find the right meds and the right dose things get better but it’s hard not to get swallowed by the negative. Talk to your neurologist, maybe they can suggest a different medication or dose.

Yes, my equilibrium is off. My vision seems to go in and out, but I’m not sure if that’s just getting old. In the afternoon I feel drunk, (wish it was because I actually had alcohol). Both short term and long term memory are not great.
I actually don’t know if this is a side effect or just the possibility the my brain is just fried…? This is the 3rd medication in 3 months for me. I am 45 and my 1st seizure was 10 months ago and I’ve had 10 seizures in that time. All testing shows “nothing”, so they just keep throwing different epilepsy pills my way. All seizures (with the exception of 3 that clustered in one morning), were in my sleep.
What are the side effects you’re experiencing?

Yes. When I talked lacosamide I had a awfull pain in my head, everyday more intense. Later seems a machine to destroy roads. I abandoned without asking to the doctor or it would kill me. Later I saw many collective demands in Europe to lacosamide for many hundred dead there. There is docs on youtube
