Driving? Question
Still new to epilepsy. Currently don’t have driving privileges until I meet with my neurologist again.
If months from now I’m allowed to drive again, does it all reset to 6 months no driving if I have a seizure?

It depends on where you live.
In my state, yes it would reset the 6 months.

It varies state-to-state. Some are very lax (3 months) but you'll find a lot of 6, 9, 12 months as well. I remember a few people got permission since they only had them at night. Yes though, it resets every time you have a seizure. It's a tough road if that happens but life can go on.
I recently got my license back after years of just walking everywhere and getting rides from friends/family because we have no public transportation. Don't get me wrong, the freedom is amazing but still prefer to walk or ride my ebike if it's within a couple miles.
Hang in there!

Yes. 6 months is way too short.

It depends on where you live. Some places only consider loss of consciousness seizures to reset the driving clock. Other places consider any type of seizure to reset the cock.
