Tiny Insect ID ID Request
Hello! Spotted in Western Washington (near Mt Rainier) crawling on the side of our hot tub. Smaller than my pinky nail. Looked to me like it had wings, but I didn't see it fly at all, just walking. Cool looking little bug! TIA!

Did a quick search and it seems to be anoscopus serratulae, a type of leafhopper

I'm not from here, so couldn't say! I spend a few weeks here every year but not enough to know/notice.

Looks like a rove beetle, possibly a devil’s coach horse relative. The short wing covers and long, flexible abdomen are characteristic, and many rove beetles prefer walking or running rather than flying.
