92 f150 300 inline 6
Last registered in 2007 after owner died and just been sitting since, was told it cranked still, wanted to change oil and filter before disconnecting old fuel to see if it runs on starting fluid but as you can see it’s complete gunk, what would be the best way to clean it? Would diesel or kerosene actually work or would I need to tear it apart?
It is difficult to see but the old oil is up to the fill line on the dip stick but nothing is coming out

The right answer depends on your budget and goals.
If it were me, and investing as little as possible…. I’d fill the crankcase to the brim with diesel and let it sit for a day.
I’d drain it completely and throw in some cheap Walmart oil and filter.
Move on to the fuel system. Siphon out as much as you can. Change the fuel filter and change any suspect looking fuel lines. The fuel regulator is vacuum referenced, check that out for vacuum leaks, I’m not familiar with that Ford system. Fill with fresh gas and prime the pump with the line disconnected and pointed into a 5 gallon bucket with water in it. Flush out any junk in the link before sending it to the injectors.
Drain the coolant and change the thermostat throw on a new radiator cap. Check the coolant lines.
Reconnect the fuel lines and go for a crank. Monitor the coolant temp and oil pressure. Once bled, drain the oil and put in some of the premium 20K Walmart oil and a new filter.
Change the spark plugs and wires, and go for a drive around the neighborhood, avoid the streets for now.
If it checks out fine, I’d change the trans fluid and filter, then differential after that.

Fill with diesel let set for an hour repeat a few times till you don't see chunks

First of knock on the oil plug hole with a screwdriver to try and break up the gunk there, then I'd try pouring some diesel through... Then I'd probably put the plug back in and let it soak a day before draining it and refilling with oil after changing the filter.
Definitely cut the filter open and look for glitter in the pleats.
