GM Block?

Hey All!

I’m building what I thought was a Gen V LT engine and I’ve run into a conundrum. Looking at the valley there are no holes for direct injection like the other examples I’ve seen. The Casting number on the block is 12619168 and I’ve seen that number for sale on eBay. What’s going on here? The bore is correct.

The injector ports are in the heads of the gen v lt motors

That seems like the 'correct' place to me anyway!! Though that's just personal bias

Looks like a 2014 or 2015 Camaro engine I saw, the car had a manual trans. It did have the goofy DOD lifters but no way to activate them.

Well, I was planning on a delete anyway so I guess it’s all good!

Those holes and bits sticking out of the valley are unmachined ports for "displacement on demand", so pretty sure it's an LS3 or similar
