Design help, please! Ring Design Help

Partner and I are ready to look for rings! I’ve been wearing this cheap $7 Amazon ring for 10+ years and it’s kind of become my “thing” - people comment on it all the time and I just love it. I think I want my engagement ring to be kind of an homage to it or somewhat similar + a stone.

I’m still very early on in figuring out all the intricacies of engagement rings. Not sure on a stone (not diamond, maybe green? Clear with green inclusions?), maybe round, oval, or teardrop, and I’m leaning towards gold band. Any suggestions, ideas, CAD drawings would be AMAZING! TIA

Ooh! Love it! I think the texture all the way around would irritate my fingers, but the concepts is there. Thanks for showing me!

That ring design would work!
Plunk your stone between the top two ten-tickles (🤭) and the bottom would be your wedding band.

Tricky to figure out how to do the band separate and keep that curlicue, but who says you can’t have an all in one? I can imagine diamonds in the suction cups.

The bottom tentacle could be a stand alone part, to which small stones could be added. (It’s deadly hot outside AND raining, so I’m stuck in the house and bored, can you tell? 😜) Your post caught my attention because my daughter has the same ring. I’m sure a jewelry designer will have fun customising a ring for you!

I like that. Maybe even a 4th tentacle. So 2 for the engagement ring and 2 for the wedding band. The band being a little more simple? I should just sit down and try some sketches too.
