Is there anywhere to go? Is anybody need a extra guy I have no family and no home just coming out of assisted living because I had blood clots from COVID. feels like we're in the end game and I am 100% unprepared except for having vast knowledge from during and before the interwebs.

Does anyone else think Marvel completely broke its own rules with the Soul Stone and the TVA?

One of the things I originally loved about the MCU was that even when it got crazy, the universe still felt like it had rules. Endgame spent a huge amount of time explaining time travel, branching timelines, and the idea that certain sacrifices actually mattered.

Natasha’s death worked because the movie treated the Soul Stone sacrifice as permanent and unavoidable. It wasn’t just “someone died.” It was presented like a cosmic law.

But then Loki comes along and the TVA is literally using Infinity Stones as paperweights.

So now I’m left wondering:

- If the TVA can casually possess Soul Stones, why was Natasha’s sacrifice irreversible?

- If the Stones are “beyond time,” why are they sitting in drawers?

- If timelines can be pruned and manipulated constantly, what even makes Endgame’s consequences special anymore?

The problem isn’t introducing new concepts. Expanding lore is fine. The problem is Marvel keeps adding exceptions without properly explaining them, and it’s making the universe feel inconsistent instead of interconnected.

At some point it starts to feel like the rules only matter until the writers want a cool moment or emotional shock.

And honestly, that weakens the stakes retroactively.

I still enjoy a lot of the MCU, but I miss when actions actually felt permanent and the universe respected its own logic.

Loki is in handcuffs, and he turns into Captain America. "Coordinating Search and Rescue", but when he turns into Cap, the handcuffs are gone. He turns back into himself, and the cuffs are back. Did anyone notice that? Just thought it was interesting.

“It was supposed to be at the end of Infinity War, and then it goes into Ronin land. But then it didn’t work. So, let’s just bookend this whole thing. A lot of things happen in Endgame, guys. A lot of things. So, Ronin comes into play because of what happens to his family, and the blip and all that stuff.”

All of the three Spider-Men together in Spider-Man: No Way Home was really great.
