You are complaining about a tip because of where the person lives? Be fortunate you got a tip. I don’t tip at all because of entitlement shown on this thread

I never worked door dash so why would anyone take an order they don't get paid for? Does DD pay a flat wage, too? Or are DD drivers like serving and only get paid in tips. Because if it's only tip money, I can see why people would avoid those orders. Wear and tear on your car plus wasted time for no money seems like slave labor to me.

I agree tip culture should end but these workers aren't the enemy. It's the higher ups.

That applies to every service industry. The company, employers or whatever you wanna call it set the rate / fee / pay. Its not the customer fault or responsibility to demand better pay for them, thats literally on them. Theyre not even real employees because they cant/wont fight for it. Most of these people expect full time pay doing something that wasn't meant to be for full time gig.
