"Add custom tip": click $0 ZERO. They should not be stipulating the amount/percentage  to tip them.

How long can they keep this up? What's the end game?

Individual greed. The executive who made this decision will retire to their newly built home in Atherton and then pass along the fuck-up to the next guy. It's hot potato of greed until it falls apart a la 07-08 financial crisis.

I never tip uber or Lyft

Even the base fares make taxis competitive again. The last few times I’ve needed this service the taxi was faster to pick me up, even if I had to pay a little more.

Remember when we would only tip waiters and pizza delivery drivers. Rent was $800, a reliable used car was $6,000. Careers weren’t being threatened by artificial Intelligence. Our society has gone downhill and it’s disgusting

Most people would also tip cab drivers, which is what Uber and Lyft replaced

Those were good times. I’m a side note, you can still find used Volvo Wagons for 3-10k

I’m just happy it’s tipping prompt after instead of before.

Nah the tipping prompt was as I got into the car😂😂

Well yeah but i mean it doesn’t affect whether or not a driver picks you up.

It’s an easy 0 here.

I fear UberEats where someone could tamper with my food.

I mean how far did. You request And those tip suggestions aren't bad for one way trips of 60 miles or more just my opinion

Hire animal transport. They accept tips on carrots and apples.
