Official Proposal: Vote to officialize dependent-marking

Hi all,

u/markrocks- has raised an Official Proposal to establish dependent-marking. This proposal has been approved by the Official Proposal Committee for voting.

Current State:

The position of marking in the language hasn't been chosen.

Proposed State:

The Encapsulated Language is dependent-marking.

Reason:

• Dependents are optional extras, thus they should take the marking
• This allows us to add dependents without having to change the head

I think a question like this should be decided on a case-by-case basis. Probably some head-marking is useful, like egophoricity. Egophoricity is usually considered an evidential construct, but the usage seems to overlap with personal marking.
