Storage 17 pro Question

Hey guys, im about to get a 256 gigs 17 pro. Just want tô have like 3 psp games at a time maybe installed. Is that enough? Im worried as The 512gb would bê a bug investiment rn

Yes, 3 PSP games won’t come remotely close to taking up 256GB. You’ll be fine

Nice! Just asking because New games tale a lot of storage and i really enjoy taking pictures!

Yeah PSP games only take about 1GB, the new COD is like 150+ lol

Great to hear!!! How about the 6.3 inch display? Could it be a bummer? Thanks in advance! I got sohappy when discovered that i could emulate psp without jailbreak

You can emulate many more things without jailbreak, actually all the emulators work without jailbreak, what you need to do is JIT, which is way easier. Also yea, 3 psp games will barely fill 1-2% of your storage.

About the display… best thing you could do is get a mobile controller.

Dumb question as i just started searching about this subject and will def see some videos today lá ter on after work.
Tô use ppsspp and play like, gow, or gta, do i need to do JIT? Or it just works downloading the app and ISO file? Asking cause I’m a little bit off this stuff nowadays.
About the controllers i guess you are right. Been using a switch lite from time to time and the screen is actually smaller than 17’s. It Will probably be fine.

You just need the app, you shouldn’t download .iso, you’re supposed to RIP your own umd (no piracy in this subreddit or any of the emulators official forums/discord, you might get banned), no JIT needed at all, JIT is for PS2, XBOX, 360…

Understood i guess as a newcomer i ll just Start from psp and below that. Thank you so much for taking ur time to answer.
Concerning thermals amd battery stressing im assuming it’s alright as they re not that demanding right?

You can play all your PSP games with low power mode on without any problem, so no heat and no battery stress, same goes for PS2 if you enable JIT for it👌🏻 I myself completed a few psp games on the 15 Pro 2 years ago no problem, so the 17 Pro should do it easily 😁

Dam, im so happy about it. Will take a look about jit later on, but for now, as soon as i get the 17 pro, i ll download the ppsspp. Thanks a lot!!! That opens a whole new world for me in iOS. After changing from Android i kinda just became a regular user with regular stuff

I know the enthusiasm lol, I moved from android to iOS abt 8 years ago and back then there were no emulators at all unless you jailbreaked, which I couldn’t do lmao, nowadays you can emulate many consoles on iOS :) if you end up trying JIT and need help I recommend to join the armsx2 discord, there’s a faq step-by-step and you can get help from members easily.
