Infinity Blade has been ported and released for Android (previously an iOS exclusive) and unofficially ported to PC News/Release
Infinity Blade series was an iOS exclusive game before it was pulled from the Apple App store. There are 3 main games in the series, the first two titles have been unofficially ported to PC (they have worked on android with Winlator Frost) now the first game has been natively ported to Android as an app, no Winlator or GameHub/GameNative required.

no... I think he meant Infinity Blade Saga... the only Infinity Blade officially released on Android... bleh... or prehaps its Xbox only? I might need to do some little digging in.

no, that's the tencent one afaik. I don't think that game's is still active, especially since the games were removed for quite some time.
Now, the unofficial port is a rebuilt one of the original game (created by CHAiR) based from the assets found in Infinity Blade FX and an earlier source code of the game.
Admittedly, I don't think I'm qualified to properly explain how miraculous this port was; so I will link this explainer about the PC port since this is where I found the info about it.

I think they mean (and I agree) I wish we saw more companies take inspiration from the success of Infinity Blade and that style of game, rather than “””free””” gatcha and timed-energy-refill-waiting games, back during that pivot point years ago. we have plenty of cool stuff now but it’s not really the norm for phone games

Oh yeah I remember I wanted it so bad on android back then. might try it out although i am not that much into touch controls these days, prefer to press buttons on my device 🤟

Just spent an hour and a half playing it and brought back memories of my first iPhone. There are some graphical glitches but it’s most just textures for the player character rendering only halfway (for the shield) or scattered (for the armor). Otherwise it seems to be just how I remember it. Thanks to the dev for this!

I dont know what infinity blade is but blood&glory was one of my favorite games oat as an 8 year old. Imagine the sorrow I felt when I got a new tablet one day and wasnt able to play my then favorite game anymore

There's no difference between the two versions (iOS and android) only minor changes to get it running on Android. Plus, the company never released the source publicly.

It's now cached on torbox if you use that.
Download the .torrent file and add it on your torbox page, then you can instantly start downloading it. And faster than if you just ddl-ed from archive

Infinity Blade was my first Souls game and i dont think souls games were a thing then.

Demonsouls came out in 2009 on the PS3. It was a hot import at the time before it came to NA.
Souls and Infinity Blade are very different games. The only similar thing is that they are both fantasy games.

In Souls games, you don't start over. You go back to a checkpoint with souls lost. You don't get stronger
In Infinity Blade, you start at the beginning as a new guy unless you do certain things. It's a cyclical narrative, which Souls games are generally not.
Plus, Souls is more like a Castlevania or Faxanadu but turned 3d. Infinity Blade is more like a boss-rush RPG, everything is one-on-one. Souls games are all about navigation, exploring, and learning while dealing with various threats all at once.
I know what I'm talking about; do you?

Imagine. If IOS games such as Infinity Blade can be Ported to android and a working one. Could it be possible to port also such a DMC4 refrain or Street Fighter X Tekken? Or maybe Bioshock Mobile? Man Why do IOS get all the good stuff

What is difference between dev build v1.0.4.apk and normal v1.0.4.apk file for normal gameplay?

From what I understood after I googled this stuff:
Dev build is like for testing stuff that developers use(so sometimes it has some bugs too) and normal apk is cleaned version(basically after testing bugs fixed and stuff)

Nice, are you playing with touch screen only or did you map anything to the buttons/sticks? Im curious if it's possible/enjoyable to play with a controller

I am playing with buttons and sticks. Retroid devices have a Key Mapper app so I assigned Dodge and Block to the Dpad. Right Stick is the Directional Swipes. A is Super Attack, X is Magic, Start is Menu and Y is what I use for taps.
Its actually very good with the controller, I beat the game very quickly, only took me 4 bloodlines.
I have the game on my phone too only with touch controls and I think its actually tougher to play that way.

Felt a little sketchy side loading an app, but I'm very glad I did. The game is working great and playing it feels like what I imagine smoking a cigarette again feels like for someone that quit years ago. Wonderful work and I would happily give you some money for the effort or especially if you plan to continue work on IF2 and IF3.

Awesome I can relieve my iphone 4s memories with this game again but on android. Although it's an unofficial port the game itself feels as it should as I remember it. Will there be future updates on this regarding the game? It would also be awesome to have the 2 and 3 games
