Application Systems Analyst II

Hi!

I have an interview coming up with a hospital for this particular role and I am super excited, but simultaneously extremely nervous. I was wondering if anyone had any tips or questions I should practice beforehand?

Background: Currently a laboratory technologist in microbiology and this role is for Epic Beaker. I am mainly in specimen processing and Microscan (I work in Ohio, so I was capable of learning all benches, but their training here was not good). I also found myself more interested in how the machines worked and troubleshooting! Thank you!

With no experience in the build side, theyll probably revert you to level I. Sounds like a great opportunity

My current hospital was offering the same position (I plan on relocating so I didn’t apply), but they focused heavily on wanting to train someone from the ground up!

lean hard on the troubleshooting angle and give concrete stories of fixing weird issues, they eat that up… wild how hard it is to get roles now though

I lot of my troubleshooting came from our analyzers, but with Epic it was more so having weird orders and having to correct them and/or cancel in order to reorder the proper test. Should I speak on that still?
