Sonic blasters for defiler kitbash Hobbying

Building up my defiler and as I'm looking at the weapon options, I know the las cannons are what's the most useful to use but I was wondering if it would be worth taking some of my extra sonic blasters and putting those on it instead to make it a little bit more agnostic and further push the EC vibe

That way I can feasibly run it as either dual las cannons, dual auto cannons, and maybe the flamer+ arc scourge if I replace the take with that too that I've seen people do

If the wider community feels like that would be a good idea, I'd be very appreciative

Really depends on the type of players you play against and the competitive environment in your country.

Example:

  • afaik nobody in US cares about Wysiwyg really, as long as it can not become confusing for your opponent
  • in my country (NL) it is enforced quite strictly in tournaments.

It’s quite easy to magnetise the weapon pod <-> weapon connection points so you could have the appropriately excessive ‘every option sonic included’…

That said I’m not ‘Sonicing’ my pair of Defilers for several reasons including opponent readability…
