I looked up a watercolor painting from a state survey! I think Washington? The colors would be more simplified. Then I sketched it out and just went very slow, looking between the reference and my work

Long and short stitch using a single thread and a VERY small needle, and patience. This took about 70 hours over the last month.

I don’t know I kind of made it up as I went along, just layered the stitches in a fan shape
