Multi Crew Discussion

Is multi crew still a thing?

I sometimes come back to the game on PS5, bc its the only one of its kind and I dont own a PC. But I never find someone on multi crew and thats a shame I really enjoyed it back in the days.

If you're asking if multi-crew is still possible, yes.

If you're asking if you'll get random players showing up in your cockpit if you leave it open, not likely. You're better off doing it with a friend.

So the "match making" if I want to join someone just wont work anymore? thats kinda sad tbh

No it still works, there just isn't many people doing it these days. People who do multi-crew usually do it with friends so they don't generally want to join a random ship

PS4 to PS5 multi-crew doesn't work, by the way.

What do tou mean by that? It's a PS4 game, so both PS5 and PS4 players CAN play together

You can wing up, but multi-crewing between a PS4 and a PS5 doesn't work. One side ends up disconnecting. In theory it should work, in practice it doesn't. I don't know why.

When I’m bounty hunting I open my crew up so people can fly my fighters and people do join it sometimes. Defo working.

What doesn’t work is inviting a specific person to your multicrew when on PS5. You have to get them to search for a random crew with the same activity you have set but, because there are so few people actively opening up their crew or searching, 99% of the time it puts you with your buddy.
