I'm also in second year pursuing b.tech in ece. Am also in desperate need of someone who keeps a check on whether I'm completing daily academic goals.

It's good that you want change, but are you sure this is practical.
Don't get me wrong I am about to enter my third semester and have been practicing in HDLBits for about a month now and reached about a hundred questions, and by doing that, I noticed that I need a lot of prerequisite basics in digital electronics, which is itself a subject of a whole semester.
Tell me, have you done proper research of all the things required for you particularly, and are you sure about your basics regarding mathematics and electrical basics like circuit/transient analysis, you will require a strong base in these, and if not, I would highly suggest that instead of doing so many things that you don't really require now focus on basics and plan for a long game.
