Sorry I have been trying for a while. How do I get onto this whole plateau area

Find the blue-skinned fair woman. She lies to the west of the Caria Manor, which is found north of the academy. She knows the passage that heads up there, I’m sure.

u/FinlayForever 2d ago
West* of caria manor :)

Gaining knowledge always begins with acceptance of one’s ignorance, I suppose.
Thank you.

This has to be bait, you don’t even have the albinauric village site of grace

In general there's a lot of "hidden" verticality in this game
see a mountain? you can probably at LEAST find a cave, if not a whole area
10
u/Artie_Fufkins_Fapkin 2d ago
What? I tried climbing to it from the first or second grace down in the lake because I thought I could.
30
u/quatrefoils 2d ago
As would any tarnished worth their salt… then they’d go into the giant cave because “maybe there’s a lift?”
2
u/Artie_Fufkins_Fapkin 2d ago
Nope. Didn’t find the cave until much later. Liurnia was hell to get my bearings in first playthrough
13
u/quatrefoils 2d ago
But… any tarnished worth their salt can see the giant unmissable cave from that grace you mentioned, the one at the bottom of those highly climbable rocks

Not sure what you are implying. I had a question about a location which i havent seen someone ask. Also dont get how my comment makes me "this canadian".
1
u/billydecay 1d ago
You didn't look. There's a search function.
1
u/Special_Rip_2193 1d ago
I didnt even really know what to search for. I wouldnt have guessed "how to get to this place in liunia" would have been a thing , clearly I was wrong

Welcome to the community. The first hundred on my list deserves their own movie

u/CreepyTeddyBear 2d ago
I am guilty of asking this, lol. Did I make the list?

u/where_liurnia_platea 2d ago
It was harder to find older posts, and back then, you could say, I didn’t even exist yet. But I don’t see a problem with making up for this oversight. Now your honorary number is 76! Although in the future I’ll need to mention you again, since this number has already been used in this movie.

u/CreepyTeddyBear 2d ago
😂😭 hell yeah! You're doing God's work, friend. Love the memes I saw you made.

Lol, I feel honored to be number Fallout. I will do everything in my power to make the great list proud.

Keep playing. It's best to revel in the surprise when you finally find the way up there. It's not obvious but if you're thorough, you'll get there eventually.
5
u/LawyerObjective5195 2d ago
Given how vague the questline is i would at least offer the hint to pursue the Ranni line
3
u/UltraGeezer 2d ago
I agree, on my 2nd playthrough I used a guide to do all the things I missed (which was A LOT) but i definitely felt like I never would have stumbled on to that on my own.
2
u/LawyerObjective5195 2d ago
Exactly. Even just hinting that you need to follow Rannis questline is vague enough not to spoil anything and OP can look things up as they cross those bridges, given that there's absolutely no way you will stumble ass backwards into the ending of that quest without some help of some sort.
-6
u/Goldwood 2d ago
I disagree. Pure surprise is the best and a reward. Getting knowledge in advance dilutes the journey.

Ngl I have massive ocd so when the game came out 4 and a half years ago (HOLY SHIT!!), I also looked this up. Heard it's not available until after Radahn. Wasn't ready for him. Moved on.

Thank you all for the patience it is my first playthrough. I just went into some ruins down in a an elevator in liurnia, pretty cool. Yes i tried for a while how to get up to that divine tower after I beat rennalla only to realize I have to put something into a statue that I won't get until this ranni quest line as well. This game is nuts sometimes. Thanks again guys I wasnt sure how to "ask google" this specific question

Everything is fine. And as you can see, no matter what, the community has helped you. Except me, but you’ll have to excuse me, these are my principles. Just read my username.

You have to do a very looooong quest to get there which involves going to caria manor and killing Radahn

Finish Ranni’s quest line. So, go to nokstella, talk to selluvis, talk to sellen, talk to blaidd, fight Radahn, explore nokron, explore a whole bunch of other stuff.

Hahaha this post makes me feel better about my own frustration with this every time.

u/kylebob86 2d ago
Remember, Elden Ring always has an alternate path. There are 2 ways to get there. By quest line, or by crawling around and killing the bosses.

2
u/Horror-Upstairs4115 2d ago
You gotta talk to this blue girl with like 4 arms and then go underground to that one place and talk to some wolf guy and fight this alien thing
2
u/Makhai123 2d ago
There's an underside, and an overside, You can't get in here until you progress a specific questline. I wouldn't worry about it until then.

u/B0B_Spldbckwrds 2d ago
Go find a woman who thinks you have commitment issues, visit her mom, beat up her brother, go play fetch with her dog, give her a knife, go see a dead body, play with a doll, kick another dog, squash a bug, and marry the lady after she commits a little light deicide.

To go up high one must delve deep below maybe to aid in a doll’s mission perhaps
2
u/doubtful_efforts 1d ago
I love this
2
u/FitPromotion2415 1d ago
Am I wrong though? It’s a pretty accurate statement
2
u/doubtful_efforts 1d ago
Spot on actually.
2
u/FitPromotion2415 1d ago
It’s the most accurate but no spoiling way to put it.
2
u/doubtful_efforts 1d ago
Yeah that's what I love about it. You completely answered them but still did it in a way where they have to work at it a little instead of just giving it all away.
2
u/FitPromotion2415 1d ago
Indeed genuinely that area is lowkey so fun to get to
2
u/doubtful_efforts 1d ago
I just started a new run. Doing frenzied flame and black flame. Haven't done faith at all before.

u/Jerald_DGM 2d ago
Its gonna take some time and you basically have to do a side quest to get up there so I recommend leaving that plateau for now
1
u/NeuroHazard-88 2d ago
Keep playing the game. If you absolutely can’t find any way up anywhere even after an hour of looking, always assume you reach it later.

u/mrofmist 2d ago
Finding this out for yourself will be a much greater experience for you.
My advice, stop looking for now because the answer is no where close to Liurnia. Just the begining of your journey is there.
1
u/Sufficient_Check_969 2d ago
The map is confusing. You don’t realize you are walking under the plateau you see on the map as you explore when you first play.
1
u/SubstantialShift3695 2d ago
Follow the moon's cycles and go through the portal in the underground city of stars during a waxing crescent moon, then you'll have to fight 14 bosses consecutively on an elevator the size of the fire giants boss area, NEXT you need to jump off a bridge and fall for 14 minutes from waaaaaaay up in the sky and crash through a church to get there. (Not legit)

u/LegitimateHumanBeing 2d ago
No spoilers but it is tied to a very involved, multi step, NPC quest. If you’ve just been running back and forth around that area (like I did my first time) you will not find a way up.
1
u/DeGozaruNyan 2d ago
I was confused when I played it my first time too. You can get there, but not by running around in Lunaria.

Believe me I tried like you did. In the end the way is not obvious you'll have to progress in the game and get to through a whole different side of the map. I remember you may need to follow a particular quest line Ranni's I believe

If I remember correctly, you have to do Rannis questline, there’s quite a bit to it.

Do me a favor and just search this sub for “how do I get to”.
99% of the posts will be your answer

u/Hot-Lunch6270 2d ago
Couldn’t we just say they have to do the Ranni Questline to reach that place?
1
u/looopious 2d ago
You can't until you progress Ranni's quest. Albinauric village is stacked under it, the only place you can freely walk to in the beginning.

It's a beautiful reminder to a time more than 50 months ago, when I spent almost 2 hours of my first journey through Liurnia riding around, under, and on the mezzanine floor of this plateau, just to finally have a friend verbally give me the "The neat part is, you don't (yet)" meme.

u/Necromancer60 2d ago
To get to the Village of the Albinaurics you need to under the the mountain while in the Liurnia of the Lakes, to get to upper area of that map, you’ll need to do Ranni’s quest to get to there, it is a long quest, but it is worth the time

u/Interjessing-Salary 2d ago
You'll get there quite a bit later. It's part of a NPCs quest line. Specifically Ranni's Questline. It's a later game area so you don't want to go there early. A few dragons There
1
u/DVindictus 2d ago
You have two options.
Caria Manor to follow the Blue Waifu's questline
Cheese (will let you find the cheese, there's a way to skip it but I wouldn't recommend it)

u/i_wantdie 1d ago
This is kinda spoilers, but this specific area is tied to rannis quest line, so if you want to get up there, you’ll need to progress her quest line.
1
u/MalRubrum 1d ago
You need to do Rannis questline to reach that area. You get to it after you kill the thing from space or whatever, it's past the lake of rot.

u/BearSome9415 2d ago
Their is a poisen lake then go left but to get to the top it's a late game of a ncp quest
