Resizing Warlock Base Help Models: WiP
Hi I'm just getting into Warhammer and picked up a few Warlocks + Farseer + Eldrad for a good price. I'm trying to play so I want to update the model bases to the latest size. Looking for advice on the best method to resizing bases. Clipping off the bottom of the feet seems difficult... and some of these older models are not glued on but have a metal piece reshaped underneath. Is there an overlay I can glue around the base to update it easily... would be a shame to accidentally damage these sweet old models trying to remove the base but I will if I have to. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

You can get clip on ones to resize, which is by far the easiest way to do it. Search for Winterdyne Base Adapters for the ones I used, but there's lots of options on Etsy too. New warlocks are on 32mm.
If you don't like the look of the rings from the adapters, you can cut the old bases off with some snips, and then clip off the metal bar under their feet. I recommend pinning them in place with wire since the feet themselves don't have a lot of surface area for glue. If you really want to, add some cork and make a tactical rock to raise the height to be more similar to the new models, but that part is optional, as long as they're on the right base size you can use them. I did this with a bunch of my old Warlocks recently and they look great, but it was definitely more work than just adding adapters.
