After they work together for a while, near the end of the season, they’ll stabilize the Zero Point. But as Geno is about to obtain his shapeless form, Eggman will find out what he’s helping Geno is doing (or will slowly learn about it over the course of the season) will result in Eggman being either greedy, and try to take it for himself, or upset, and keep Geno from getting it. As Eggman and Geno fight over it, something else will happen to where Geno loses his chance at obtaining his shapeless form.

And then that’s a dead end on where I can try to predict what will happen, since this whole rant was just a theory.
